Obviously not a sport but any mental competitions I hard disagree as being the least healthy "sport" because some sports are actively detrimental to your health, with gaming or chess or anything that involves sitting on your ass you can still lift and exercise on the side, and a lot of pro gamers do (like this dude).

Least healthy sport would have to be something that requires PED use that actively destroys your body (bodybuilding, powerlifting) or something that can just straight up get you killed (boxing, mountain climbing).

No it doesn't, actually grandmaster scans show they use less energy than regular players when thinking of moves as they work from memory.

          Stop believing obviously pseudoscientific bullshit.

Base jumping. 1 in 60 athletes die while performing their sport. Most dangerous sporty activity overall is climbing to the peak of Mount Everest where you have about a 1 in 9 chance of dying

K2 death rate is like 23%. I think Annapurna I is the current leader at like 30%

Yeah K2 and Annapurna MOG Everest. Especially considering that the people who go up Everest are much less skilled/much more rich tourists.

climbing 8 thousanders in general is dangerous as frick. Everest is, ironically, a little safer just because the numbers are skewed by it being flushed with tourist-tier expedition groups with tons of sherpas and shit. The "less famous" peaks like Annapurna, Kanchenchunga, Dhaulagiri I, and K2 are looking at 20-30+% death rates. Shit's bananas

probably something that incentivices people to take insane amounts of hormones to get to an absurd bmi, that preaches avoidance of any cardio training, is practiced alone and indoors, requires extreme dieting and incentivices the take of diuretics for no apparent health or performance benefit

Any competitive sport is bad for your health. Pushing your performance to the max will frick you up, also in a competition setting you push too far to get the win.

The healthiest thing is light lifting focusing on movement that improve mobility, and maybe running if you keep good form and short distances. Also swimming.

Some exercises I would focus on gor health are.
    >Single leg split squats
    >incline DB Bench press
    >chin ups
    >single leg RDL
    >mace swings
    >cable rows

Another thing would be to not be fat but have enough muscle mass to suppory joints. Ottermode is probably the healthiest body type

Probably racewalking. They're all skinny, insane masochists and a lot compete in ultra marathons in addition to racewalking. The ideal stride for racewalking is super unnatural and it destroys your hips. Just a bizarre, unnatural expression of movement.

in olympics there's no 50km category for women, which means women are banned from it, which means race walking is only based sport in existence.

Competitive eating. Relatively new so we don’t know the full consequences it has on the body and the most efficient techniques and training methods are still being worked out.

Also any sport that involves constant or intense trauma to the head.

    Calcio Storico maybe?

It's basically soccer with he following rule:
    >Players cannot sucker punch, kick someone in the head, or gang tackle an opponent.
Basically looks like rugby mixed with MMA in practice.

It's one of those medieval (actually from 1580 or so) games modern people are too pussy to enjoy, really. No death have been reported recently, but going to the hospital for extended periods after a game is normal.

While not the least cause no brain damage, arm wrestling has got to be talked about as a contender
No cardio, the actual competition puts massive amounts of stress on your arm and joints - after a match it's normal to be hurting for months, and that's in good cases where you don't get an arm break or rear. Also the top guys roid like strongmen, Levan is on a stack that Larry Wheels said shocked him.
