Incline benchpress if it's the only bench variation the person does. It's just an excuse to use less weight . Same goes for front squats.

True, but I don’t think 2/3/4/5 is the natural extension of 1/2/3/4. With 2pl8 ohp, it should be more like 2/3.75/4.5/5.5 or something like that

        Anonymous

Bro, I'm gonna hit 2pl8 OHP first before the rest of 2/3/4/5

          Anonymous

Something is wrong with your form or programming. If you’re creeping up on 2pl8 OHP, strict not push press, then a 3pl8 Bench should be trivial. Unless you dropped bench to focus on ohp?

            Anonymous

If 315 bench is rep work for you, and you haven’t reached 225 OHP, then you probably don’t work OHP hard enough or you never bothered to learn proper mechanics for it

That’s literally the squat. The amount of genetic failures who can reach a 4 plate squat is off the charts. Even fricking women can achieve a 3 plate squat naturally. good luck to any women trying to achieve the other three lifts though.

            I guarantee you don’t lift

Different people are different, dipshits. The fact that not everyone has achieved the exact same strength ratios as you doesn’t mean they’re doing something wrong.

Are you deadlifting heavy? Trying to control the eccentric is a one way ticket to rip city. If you're deadlifting light for high reps then yeah, get your weighted stretch, but when going heavy? Bad idea.

nope. benching is a moron lift, but theres like a 5% athletic transfer, unlike the deadlift. and i bench 395 + DL 650 even though i do each once a month. you should still do a pull off the ground but it should be the clean, or a farmer walk.

I can hit 335 lbs bench Press with a pause on my pecs
I can even force out a 2pl8 OHP
But I'm at 485 lbs for deadlift as of two days ago, actively training it along with accessories for it to try to hit 5pl8s by next Friday

Because those to exercises are magnets for s.o.ycucks, high school twink gays and pube faces. The jacked bros at the gym do dumbbell incline/decline/ flat bench presses, flys and curls. the cables and squat racks are constantly filled with gays.

Full Barbell Curls are pretty Beta since most people doing them are hogging the squat rack.

Hip Thrusts are pretty lame as well.
