>be me, last few months >essentially wearing a perfect eth skulldurs with some topaz sockets >finding gains left and right >don't even need to grind difficult shit to find them, in clearing the pit over and over
Feels good bro
There may come a time where you need strength to overcome the challenges you face ahead. if you quit now and make such excuses, your gonna have a bad time.
>no carryover
Presence alone has completely shifted >kids run up to me and ask how I got so big >other men listen and respect my opinion, especially weak men. Even my boss acts like a sub towards me >women give me a lot more attention >body feels way better at 30 fit than it did at 20 weak. Don’t even get sick as often >went from guys trying to hog my machine or bench at the gym the second I stood up to watching my lifts and asking for spots/giving me mires/asking for advice >I can see in my dads eyes that he actually respects me now.
Idk what kind of gay life you're living but I use my gym strength all the time >moving shit around my property like building materials, furniture, can lift things safely and efficiently >building shit with my hands, get way less fatigued and can control my tools better >pound the everloving fuck out of my girlfriend pussy leaving her speechless everytime
I some times think about it. There are two reasons though: >it's fun by itself anyway >you can try to enhance your performance in sports through it (you might not kill someone, but you could box for example)
I used to walk at night to get into knife fights to die in symbolic combat I even made homemade bullet proof armor in case somebody tried to cheat, I never died but I came to the conclusion that I'd rather die from the person I loved than in a stupid fight I'd rather have my throat slit by a woman whom I shared an immaterial connection with
If you become strong this will reflect on your physique, posture, and demeanor.
If you diet correctly, this will reflect on your physique and health.
If you become strong and diet correctly, you will look and feel amazing, and regardless of modernity that is always fantastic.
I think most people will see day to day benefit from achieving novice tier lifts (1,2,3,4). Posture improved, back pain dissipates if you don’t snap your shit, lifting moderately heavy stuff is easier, you age better, etc. beyond that it’s sport specific or autism.
Most people aren’t making use of 2/3/4/5 strength regularly, but looking and feeling good is worth a lot, as is satisfying min/max autism urges.
I like mountaineering, I find I’m slower in some areas because Im carrying more muscle than is optimal. I can carry a lot of weight though, so I’m cozy as hell when we set up camp, and people are grateful for me bringing their shit up the mountain. For me, sport and lifting are sometimes at odds, and sometimes not. The guy who’s really happy is the one who plays American football/rugby/etc because the hobbies fully complement each other,
getting "stronger", as in grinding powerlifting movements might be often not so useful or even derogatory for your general ability, but when you actually do a lot of movements, build a strong core and a strong grip, then it can make a world of difference in many situations
this is why I often frown upon defining some limited barbell movements as an absolute measure of strength, then getting brutally filtered out once you have to pick something of an unorthodox shape or really do anything that requires dad strength
You can. You can create and access those environments much easier than before in fact. It is exponentially easier to do what you want to do than in the "ancient world", if you wanted to climb a mountain you can just drive there on paved roads, or you could choose not to drive at all and hike the old fashioned way, or you can just go down the block to a climbing gym. If you wanted to be a blacksmith or some shit you can easily access that information for free on the internet, or pay an artisan to teach you on the other side of the city. If you aren't utilizing your strength that's your fault because you CHOSE not to.
You get stronger so you can load more pl8s. Its a lot like grinding for loot in Diablo 2
This is the best argument I've heard for lifting.

Ever known anyone that's moved house? Rearranged furniture? Moved offices in work? You can demonstrate your strength all you like
Get a job where you move stuff / build stuff / destroy stuff and you're double good
Get yoked and get a job as a mover. They make fuck tons of money if you're willing to travel a lot
There may come a time where you need strength to overcome the challenges you face ahead. if you quit now and make such excuses, your gonna have a bad time.
That is the lamest image I have ever seen.
That is the newfagest post I have ever seen.
> has never moved house before
Also getting strong will make you more resilient to injuries when you're old

Your muscles pump 50% of your blood to your brain.

An act of rebellion against a world which glorifies weakness and wants to make you weak
