    Wheyis just a convivence to me for whenever I'm not hungry and it's between meals. I eat an hour before my workout, I'm not really hungry after, I'll have a shake. There's a solid 6 hours between breakfast and lunch, a shake in between could be useful. It doesn't ever need to be very appetizing, it's fine with water. While I see it as food, it's not really a meal to me ever. It's a fit in-between. I always chug it also-

    Are powder brands from grocery stores (body fortress, muscle milk, etc) bad for you? When I used to try and build lean muscle after work, BF seemed to work okay after a couple months like I could actually feel a difference but I never was sure if it was filled with bad things I didn't need and if it was simply just the small amounts of lifting in general more so than the powder doing anything. I also used milk instead of water

      I read an article a while back comparing brands and most were basically good enough in terms of actually having the nutrients they claim. I think Dymatize was the best overall.
      The brand in that picture was the worst performer. It was basically half filler. Significantly less nutrients than it claimed.

    I just buy boxes of hot dogs add white castle cabbage on fake butter paired with white bread, broiled not toasted for an evrn brown. For flavor i prefer cottage cheese yogurt and whey nothing beats it.

    I only mix water with powder, but I do like to cook some frozen fruit, mix it with quark or yogurt and a spoon of powder. Everything else is wasted nutrition and kcal.
