45-50 is true rhr but it's only that low first thing in the morning before i start popping pills nicotine caffeine all day it's usually closer to 60 when I'm on stimulants
Yes, when you strain it activates the vagus nerve which can slow down your heart rate and then cause it to temporarily shoot up afterwards.
how the frick most of you have sub 70 bpm, i constantly have 90+ bpm, i'm skinnyfat though
Thats bad, you need to do cardio stat. Also fix your diet.
same mine is always high despite training cardio 4 times / week
You are not doing enough then or not doing it intensively enough. I only do cardio three times a week 20-30 min a session, at around 70-75% max heart rate, and I also strength train the rest of the week, so I'm training every day almost. My BPM is usually around 60, and often in the morning in the low 50's. Fix your diet as well.
Do you cardio a lot? It's not too strange for it to be that low if you're young, do a lot of cardio, and are of a low weight.
I'm 22 and am in decent fitness shape. But I have some blood flow problems IE my heart doesn't seem to be pumping enough some times.
I feel normal after a workout though and during running it feels like my blood is finally flowing properly
45 these days but my all time lowest resting heart rate in my life was 34. I was running 60-80 miles at the time and weighed 40 pounds lighter than I do now.
5'8 150lbs 42 yo pothead here.
mine is always close to 80, started walking ~5KMs/day 2 weeks ago, lost ~9 lbs in part due to high (>140bpm) heart rate (@107steps/min).
Yesterday I only fed myself a protein shake, a protein bar and 4 beers.
funnily, today my resting heart rate shot well over 100bpm after surfing for an hour or so. its still hovering close to 90, did I frick myself?
5'8 235 pounds and 53 bpm, I binge ate yesterday and it hit 72 this morning at 252 pounds. I am going to start my cut literally tomororw, actualyl started today technically.
I feel like it’s gone up since starting cycling, when I used to run it was lower. I also resumed drinking espresso daily and indulging in a can of Monster or two. Mid 50s sometimes but usually upper 50s these days (when asleep).
48
78 right now. I also tend to have a higher blood pressure.
Usually like 58-62 range but it depends on the day
64, I was told it is very high by a couple of ppl that have it in the 40's, idk how it is possible since I am lean and have a low blood pressure.
64 is not high. 60 and below is bradycardia, which is usually associated with athletes.
bad
Usually in the 70s
64, i used to be in the 40s when i did a lot of cardio and took my meds for hyperthyroidism
45-50 is true rhr but it's only that low first thing in the morning before i start popping pills nicotine caffeine all day it's usually closer to 60 when I'm on stimulants
This is me too. Is that bad for the heart? I mean it puts it back into regular range. Sometimes when I eat fatty hamburgers my HR drops to 38-41
whats a good heart rate anyway? or at least whats not a bad heart rate?
i would say above 70 is bad. and i would say good is between 45 and 60.

Keep it below 80
This was just now, but I'm lying in bed. Used to be as low as 50 when I ran and kickboxed regularly.
56, I've been a low as the high 40s when I wrestled and as high as the mid 60s when I smoked and drank
85 rn
81 bpm rn, I'm usually in the 70s tho
Sipping my morning coffee. Currently at 76
It is about 55bpm but only after I relax on bed for a few minutes, it easily goes up otherwise, I get 90-100 just from standing up
52 rn. Do your cardio, anons. It's Made a world of difference on this cut and in my day-to-day
I am also shitting. Wonder if that had any impact.

Third degree heart block

I'm licensed, 42 is low from the range of 60-100 depending on age, but if it's a normal sinus rhythm your fine

Varies a frick ton. I don't monitor it 24/7 but
if it's not 0, are you really resting?
Around 60 right now dealing with bullshit, it goes lower when I'm just dozing in bed.

0. I'm a spooky skeleton
nice
huh, neat
69 atm
Goes down as low as 32 when sleeping.
Usually 30s to 40s. Hospital said I was fine.
Found out I had marfan syndrome after I was getting regularly tested at 95-110
I just finished drinking coffee, 75bpm
>75bpm
How much coffee is that I don’t know British measurements
you have to be trolling
just wanted to know how much coffee you were talking about butthole
no one who mentions bpm (beats per minute) is talking about volume, no matter the country
Now you’re making fun of me? Great. Thanks bro.
no problem, have a great day
76bpm when sitting, i'm not going to sleep to test how low i can go
When I try to read my resting heart rate, it stays high, because I get anxiety about it and my resting heart rate is like 80-90
But if I put on a watch and measure it and forget about it over the course of weeks, it get a resting heart rate of like 50-60
1 hour cardio 3 or 4 times a week. Maybe going too hard might tone it down.
112bpm
