    these are pounds? i saw photo of him curling two plates. in my experience slow lifting only gives you small size boost and veins but plateaus very quickly. low frequency is bad too. onlybthing i agree is that multiplensets are very taxing and are almost like beating dead horse.

    About a year ago. My most important observations:
    >one set taken to beyond failure with partials or dropsets is absolutely enough
    >timed cadence lets your lower the weight, makes it harder to cheat and cuts the bullshit
    >3 intense workouts a week are hard to recover from long term, 2 are much more realistic
    >Mentzer's methods are for some reason mega biased towards natural lifters, even though he must've known everything about roids
    This being said, I follow his advice only to a certain degree, I'm not limiting myself to three exercises every two weeks.

      Most people who switched to HIT are probably intermediate and above and at this point it's hard to achieve any spectacular transformation w/o roids. Most people who are bandwagoning could be doing HIT for only a couple of months, so it's not enough time to produce any super visible results. I for one can say I gained strength on HIT and added like 2cm to my arms (due to bulk, but still) and I'm a seasoned lifter, not too young as well, so this shit must work to some degree.
