I wouldn't call any lift "fun" but squats in particular give me a sense of satisfaction, like I did something, especially when I lift a weight easily that used to be my max, feelsgood
Not so far for me. Worst injuries I’ve had are from front squats and back squats. I kind of don’t see the point anymore. I just ended up with large quads and my calves remained too small in comparison, I got better overall hypertrophy per effort from blocks focused on overloaded sets of leg isolations, and similar to better overall feeling and gains from using bike sprints, hill sprints, prowler sled, and back extensions as my only leg work. For heavy work I still do deadlift (bone density, stimulating hormones, etc.) and for mobility and squat depth I do enough.
Probably the 3pl8 threshold but potentially mid/upper 2's
