    the pin is better

Gym owners got tired of guys sticking that pin up their asses, so they got those ones instead.

wtf kind of shit is that? what fricking moron designed that lmao

Stronk Niger can’t even fricking read. It fricks up the alignment of the pins inside so all the machines are constantly out of service.

To be fair at first glance I’d flip all that shit too. It’s very poorly designed especially if you can break it by flipping more than one switch

Ditto, I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that the weights you want to lift should be ON.

They've literally taken one of the most simple designs in gym equipment and managed to frick it up for no reason.

It’s not fricked up, though. It’s an internal pin. This isn’t rocket science. It’s 3 sentences that must be read literally 1 time. I don’t understand how this troglodyte remembers to breathe.

              >This isn’t rocket science

Neither is putting a fricking pin in the weight you want to use.

You seem awfully defensive for this piece of shit equipment, did you design it? DOOD, HAVING 20 SWITCHES IS TOTALLY BETTER THAN ONE PIN BECAUSE UM... BECAUSE IT FRICKING IS OK?

          >at first glance
I can see that. But this moron has been doing it for months and must fricking notice the machines are broken all the time. Every machine has this same fricking sticker RIGHT ABOVE THE WEIGHTS.

What’s even the point of this shit when you could just be using pins instead. What’s even supposed to be the advantage to this convoluted shit?

          >implying the culprit wouldn’t gather the pins from every machine like a squirrel gathering nuts and do the same thing

The pins are attached to the machine via a flexible cable, but you'd know that if you ever stepped foot in a gym

I have that at my gym for the lat pull down. Worst system ever. They took something simple and made it complicated for no reason

Every smart person would know they have to consider stupidity of the average Joe when designing new stuff. This is why car tires can stand up to 300 psi and even more before exploding, because they KNOW some idiot would misunderstand the label and do some stupid stuff. They should put a mechanism that releases and blocks the other pins when one is locked in the desired weight.

What the frick is that? A weight tower for electricians?

Someone explain cause I’m not an electrician

If the 15 and 20 are ON, assuming all others are OFF, will the weight I lift be 15 or 35 (technically 20, but the 15 on top too)

do you think those plates at the bottom, which happen to be the same dimensions as all the others, weigh over 200lbs?

different materials = different densities, smartass

At my gym it’s the nigz that do that. I don’t think they know better, and honestly the design of the machine is ass.

What the frick even is this? I've been lifting for 29 years and never have I seen anything but a pin on a cable machine.
