Either Americans are incompetent morons that are miraculously successful in international business by being thousands of times more lucky than everyone else, or they're not moronic and the world's most powerful country is supported by competent people.
The US has supply lines made by the most competitive capitalists in the world.

            >Either Americans are incompetent morons that are miraculously successful in international business by being thousands of times more lucky than everyone else, or they're not moronic and the world's most powerful country is supported by competent people.
America is playing the game of politics on easy mode.
You genocided basically the entire native population of the entire continent and then got left alone for basically your entire existence while the rest of the world burnt itself down in wars and sent you their best and brightest
Because of manifest destiny you have the richest wealth of natural resources basically anywhere on the planet.
Culturally you lucked out massively and your institutions are based on british institutions rather than spanish or french colonial institutions which actually allowed them to succeed somewhat rather than just devolving into a massively segregated colonial society which collapsed as soon as colonialism ended

And yet you still fricked it up and ended up with the most corrupt, degenerate, unequal and consumerist society anywhere in the west. I genuinely have no idea how you can walk through a city like LA or New York and not be fricking digusted with yourself for existing as you step over the literal corpses of homeless people.
            >Heh, frickin city slickers are like that

If this is what you think then explain why the most talented people wouldn't be attracted to the country with the most resources. The US has been brain draining the whole world since it's conception.
Also fricking lmao on the implication the US is backsliding. It wasn't true 100 years ago and it's not true now. How about you set a due date on that? I was telling people online over a decade ago, if they think the US is failing then check back in 10 years and if the US is still the dominant world power then admit to themselves they were wrong; I will give you the same ultimatum.

My local Mc Donalds has double cheeseburgers (450kcal, 25P, 34C, 24F) at 2.89. If you buy one retail, gives you a coupon for 2x1 - 50P meal.
1lb of fresh boneless, skinless, chicken breast, after removing the extra fat, packaging, etc according to its nutritional label goes 80P/lb for the same price.
Cost per gram of protein makes the cheeseburger about 1.6x more expensive, for a warm, already cooked meal with "meat", if you're bulking, for every now and then isn't that bad.

Why do >people still claim that fast food is "healthy"? You can make it healthier by ditching the sugary buns, powdered sugar sauce and deep-fried fries(not because carbs = bad, but because you can probably fry potatoes at home with way less oil or use an air fryer) and ask them to wrap the meat bun and veggies inside a lettuce.
The problem is, you don't know how processed the meat patty, so you might as well make it at home using ground beef with a low % of fat.
You don't eat fast food because it's cheap or convenient(it's neither) you eat it because they engineered it to taste delicious even if the nutritional value or ingredients are dogshit.

I dont trust these calculations at ALL. Wild caught Atlantic salmon at 6.80 a pound? More like 10 to 12. Chicken thigh at around $1 a pound? More like 3 at least. The rest is hard to do math on since it's usually not sold by the pound.

I still agree with your point mostly. Cook your own food, it's better, tastier, healthier, and generally cheaper. But don't lie with the numbers. It'd be closer to half the price, maybe 75% the price if you get expensive stuff like salmon. It COULD be this cheap if you stick to rice, beans, and on sale meat.

ALA is not omega 3 BTW. ALA is a precurse to omega 3. Conversion rate is no more than 5%. So in reality, even after conversion, you ate bunch bird seed to have only 10% of your omega 3 needs met.

pic is today's prices and not even shopping around for prices. they're also online prices which are usually inflated.

$7.61 for what's on the left side of the OP. but I usually get broccoli for $0.99/lb, which brings it down to $6.43.

healthy food is basically inflation proof compared to unhealthy shit

Go to the grocery store and look at the price of goyslop vs the price of fresh produce and meats. The goyslop is cheaper. Fast food is more expensive than both.
goyslop you prepare yourself < healthy food < goyslop others prepare
