Same deal here. Threw out my orthotics and support shoes 6 months ago. Have been on 5 Fingers, Xero sandals and barefoot on the beach for the last 6 months and things are constantly improving.
The brass neck on the podiatrist who tried to charge me £450 for 'custom' insoles, vs the ones they sold me off the shelf for £50 rang alarm bells that the entire industry was a scam.
Just a shame that the casual barefoot shoes look a bit retarded, but trying to spend most of my time barefoot or in my Primus Lites

They literally aren't resulting in either the pinky toe being misalinged and rotated intward or the big toe being tilted inward, or both.

Vivo’d since 2017, I wore through one pair fully, and still have a model that has a strap I use for lifting and hiking. Still go between Feiyue’s and skate shoes for casual even though they’re tight/narrow… I haven’t been bothered to shop for that style in the past but I’ve found some now I might consider.
I’m looking first at something more sturdy for hiking since that’s a lot of my walking time.
And I just ordered some nine to fives for work since that is sadly a majority of my time at the moment… they don’t look quite as thin soled and not as purely barefoot, but on the plus side I might be less at risk of feeling like a manlet (6 foot) at work.
Tbh I miss living somewhere I could just go actual barefoot most of the time, I used to have such good callouses I wouldn’t feel it if I was walking on gravel or hot bitumen, now they’re too soft.
There are, they seem like they’ll still have a barefoot/duck foot shape (wide toes) instead of cucking your toes in like ‘Le Effay boots or whatever will.
Did you guys size down? I didn't and I got a hole in the mesh where the big toe is. I don't even know if it's helping me or not but I do like the wide toebox
My tibialis anterior is killing me during jogs. Do I just keep jogging or is there a need for strengthening exercises? If so which ones?
Switched from vivo to 5 fingers, and I found out I land on the outside of my big toe instead of the pad. Now I have to clench my toes a bit to fix my arch, but my tibs are fatiguing after 15 minutes.

Got some softstar chukkas the other week, comfiest shoe i've ever worn. All that remains now is to replace my black dress shoes.
