Where the fuck are the beginner gains???

Where the frick are the gains? Ive been working out with my friend regularly when we have free time from work for the past few months. While he got swole and strong i am still like someone stuck toothpicks in a potato. I used to be severly overweight so i decided to cut sweets, juices, bread and now i have a healthy diet of lean meats with vegetables. I use proteins, creatines and geranabol for working out and theres still no difference. Is it a hormonal/genetic thing or do i just have to be consistent and let time do its magic? If anyone has any advice i would be thankful.

Been working out to exhaustion for a while now, throwing around a huge rubber wheel, hitting it with a mallet, pushups, lifting but nothing works, it just isnt showing

Routine is random, at least 3-4 times a week due to work related bullshit.
I mostly eat chicken, beef, vegetables such as potatoes, carrots and such
          I am 176cm tall, weigh 82 kilos and i am 24
Maybe its because i dont drink enough water? Ive been catching myself not drinking at all during the day.

this. But don't worry OP I'll give you what you want:

Yes you are doing everything right, you probably just have the gene where you can't build muscle no matter what you do. Also I suspect your friend is secretly juicing.

There is no doubt this is a joke.
He even brushes off the advice he's asking for, and then says hmmm maybe the issue is not enough water. He's a comedian at best, or unsavable at worst.>verification not required

No idea on your weight, bodyfat %, training routine or overall caloric intake but I'm sure you can figure it out

How do i keep track of food intake and nubers easily?

Download Chronometer. Track all your food for a few weeks. If you do a lot of varied activity like me it's hard to calculate how many calories you burn so just track your weight for a while, if you want it to go up and it doesn't, eat a bit more.
I just add more milk when I need to eat more to bulk.

        >Routine is random, at least 3-4 times a week due to work related bullshit.
Then un-randomize it. If you go 3 times a week, especially as a beginner, you can do any full-body routine. When you do it is not so important.
        >I mostly eat chicken, beef, vegetables such as potatoes, carrots and such
What classifies "mostly"? Track your intake (especially macros and protein) for a month to get some insight. You don't have to track forever.
        >I am 176cm tall, weigh 82 kilos and i am 24
You have a BMI of 27, aka you're overweight. Nothing to be ashamed of, if you're working on it. But your muscles are probably hidden behind fat until you lose a bit of weight. You can still progress by lifting more weight every week, even if you don't "see" it on your body.
        >Maybe its because i dont drink enough water? Ive been catching myself not drinking at all during the day.
If this is not bait, no, that's not the reason. Drinking water is important but not the reason why you don't make any gains

Thanks dude, i will make sure to track my food intakes and also my water intake. When it comes to un-randomising my workout schedule it will be pretty hard since the type of work i am doing. Tho i will receive training at work now due to preparations for things. When it comes to my weight it fluctuates violently throught the year, at my peak i had 68 kilos and at my worst 96. Shits awful.

Track your protein and try to bulk. I'm in my beginner gains phase, didn't get anything when I was barely cutting but I'm growing now. Try to gain half a kilo a week for maybe 10 weeks to kick start some growth. Eat a lot of protein. Be consistent with your workout and make sure you're getting the right volume. I'm doing 5x5 twice a week for most exercises. Get enough sleep.
If any two of sleep, training, eating are right you'll grow. If you get all three you can do it fast.
As someone that's tried both I think it's way easier to bulk as a beginner than cut since even if you frick up just a bit you can still maingain

Not him but I made my routine out of only shit I like doing and then added a couple things I don't like because they were necessary. I think it's OK and a viable strat for a beginner.

Post body then if it's viable.

tbf do you trust the potential recoil of someone figuring out your identity/relatives/ the possibility for the pic not to show up later in life when you r public image is important.

I think my physique and gains are good but i've only posted respectful pics to my workout homie chat I could never post here out of rational fear.

I still look like shit because it's only been a few months. My strength has gone up a lot and my muscles are visibly growing since I started. Could maybe minmax a bit more with a perfect routine but this makes me enjoy going every morning.
