leg raises have been fricking my abs up
crunches, situp all end up pulling on my back before my abs get tired
prolly doing them wrong but leg raises have been better for me
why? they recover super fast and they can handle tons of volume. No reason to skip them unless you have blasted some weighted calisthenics movements AND heavy compounds
I don't know what your specific issues are, but work on strengthening the core itself. Abs are cool and all, but when you don't have the strength to back up the aesthetic, it is pointless.
Abs and shoulders don't even need to be trained, they develop on their own by doing other exercises. I've never trained them and they're both well defined.
Core stability is trained in exercises that require some holding of heavy weight, but shoulders? In certain exercises, maybe, but it's hit and used way less than the core is. I say you should still train them, even if it's twice a week.
Wasted digits
Literally just stop eating and do sit ups fat frick
I'm 5'9 140lbs.
Eat more and do sit ups
Then eat less and keep doing sit ups
You fell for the "aBs ArE MAde iN the KitChEN ThouGH". Train them every time you go the gym.
And by train I mean isolation
>sit ups
probably one of the least effective and most boring ab exercise
This but unironically I'm gonna start doing this
do leg raises, cable crunches and jacknives

Wrong. Train them like every other muscle, only 2 times per week.

Eat healthy, eat the right amount and do hanging leg raises + butterfly kicks + Russian twists
140lbs at 5'9 could be anywhere from a 20% BF skinnyfat to an 8% shredded otter mode.

Frick man, 100 reps a day will get you there. That wheel destroys abs.
3 sets of that b***h done properly, with tight core etc., will murder your abs in 2-3 minutes.
When I was 16 I used to do a single set per day. It didn't last more than 2 minutes, killed my abs and gave me the most blocky abs I've ever seen.
brb buying ab wheel
>stop eating
>learn how to do crunches
bruh
eat less, big ceps are harder for me because I have to force feed myself sometimes,
There not. Literally 99% of human beings are born with them and have them throughout life.
Mama drink while you were in the womb or someshit?
