Said like a brainlet. Humans are superior to wild animals due to their intelligence not sharp claws or strong bites.
Lion could do nothing against ak47 and full mag.

Lions already can't do anything against spears. Africans hunt them for fun lol

Humans evolved to prioritise intelligence over strength and agility. We weren’t apex predators like lions (we were both predators and prey) but the explosive development our high intelligence granted us has basically removed us from the food chain completely in a timeframe so short that it was basically instantaneous in the scope of life and evolution. Of course, it’s still nice to pursue strength and agility for their own sake, but as a species we are only as strong as we needed to be in order to support our intelligence.

That's bullshit though. You can beat predators one on one and lots of humans did and do. Ofc, the typical modern gym goer can't even deal with another human in a fight, but I'm talking about the hard as nails turn of the century explorers and earlier.

There are some books about this, you don't even have to go back to antiquity or middle ages for some wtf-tier feats of strength. Just 100 years ago, factory workers used 40 lbs sledge hammers in 14 hour shifts, something unthinkable today. And some years ago, some guy on here posted army strength standards from Prussia, where even "sedentary" (by the standards back then, think artists, painters, men of leisure etc) DYEL twink recruits could deadlift something like 3.5x BW, untrained, for army tests, like nothing.

Be real though history and records get fudged literally all the time for le glory. You could use a sledgehammer all day today if you want to destroy your body and die at 40. We just have better sense than to do so

This is just coping now. That wasn't even 100 years ago. Point is, people could and did do stuff which we nowadays think is impossible because we're all sad sacks of shit, physically-speaking. I'm sure the workers weren't nearly as snarky and femme as you in online discussions though. That's your win.

I'd take someone like Hafthor over some half starved sickly lion. But for most of us the reason is humans are born cardiogays, not strengthchads like lions or bulls.

Being that weak as a lion means you're dead. As human it means other humans provide for you. No wonder they mog us.

I honestly wouldn't feel all that safe even with a gun with lions around. Their whole shtick is ambush, and they usually hunt at night when they can see much better than humans can. If the 21 foot rule applies to humans, with lions it would be at least a 50 foot rule.

        >I honestly wouldn't feel that safe even with a gun in this specific scenario where lions are in advantage and humans vulnerable
Well, sir, I can give you an advice. Don't go outside near lions in the middle of the night with bushes around.

That's where lions live. That's the environment in which you encounter lions. More or less everyone who gets killed by lions gets bushwhacked at night while taking a shit or something. My own encounter with wild lions was during the day and even then it's pretty frightening how fast they can move.

P.s. lions are moronic. Literally put your hands in the air, wave them and start screaming at them, they'll run away

That's being smart not moronic. For you losing a leg or an arm is not a big deal cause of modern medicine. For a lion even small scratch can get infected and kill him. This is why most animals will try to avoid fights.

      Carl Ackeley did something similar

      >he managed to strangle the leopard with his left hand while ramming his right arm down the leopard’s throat. Later Akeley posed with the dead leopard, resulting in his most iconic photo.

Wild humans are pretty fricking strong though? Even civilized people knocked out Orang Utans, killed bears and wolves with their bare hands, etc etc. We are just really weak nowadays because modern lifestyles.

I’m pretty sure saying men can kill a bear with their hands is a bit like saying men can deadlift half a ton. I don’t think there are all too many people out there who have murdered a bear in hand to hand combat

        Anonymous

Yeah, no shit, it is and was pretty rare to find a bear, unarmed, unable to run away, and going into a fight with it. That doesn't mean people couldn't do it - they did, and more often that you'd think.

Humans are strong, end of story. Much stronger than us sedentary mega nerds believe.

It's cause of muscle structure. Monkeys may be ridiculously strong but they can't do fine movements with their arms and hands. Saw a clip of one tryin to hammer it a nail and it took like 20 strikes to hit it. Our muscles are weaker but we can build stuff and do surgery with them.
