because cheese is high in calories and most of the global population is lactose intolerant.

Aged cheeses are really low in carbs (lactose) and you can also find cheeses that are low in calories.
Lactose intolerance is not real, if you grew up drinking milk and you can't drink it as an adult then you're probably vitamin D deficient.
Something like 3/4s of the population is vitamin D deficient.

Is that real or just a schizo theory? My entire family can drink milk just fine. Me too, until at 19 or something it feels like I am stabbed in the stomach whenever I drink milk. Weirdly enough milk products, like cheese, joghurt, sweetened evaporated milk or quark are no issue for me, it's just milk in its pure form. It's honestly kinda weird.

If you've noticed that your poops become yellow with milk then you don't absorb the calcium, which is the job of vitamin D.
          Get a blood test.
Until you fix it, in my experience coffee and sugar help with milk digestion.

Oh Jesus, nah man. I just get pretty bad stomach cramps and my stomach bloats.

            (not that anon)
i've never heard of it before and looked it up. it sounds like there's an association, but in the opposite direction. ie, people who are lactose intolerant develop low vitamin d levels due to the lack of dairy in the diet.

I'd have my dairy intake is pretty high, just not in milk. But what that other anon and you said is most probably right regardless, l remember that female doctor in a Joe Rogan podcast saying that most people are vitamin D deficient. But I looked into those multivitamins/vitamin tablets and it is such a huge clusterfrick. There are a frickton of products, half of them are so overpriced I can't afford them, half of them bullshit with their labels or are just not enough vitamins in that b***h. So you have to swim through that ocean of supplement lies, bullshit and pricing to find that 1 product that is actually good and affordable, but I just gave up halfway through.

10k IUs every day is a safe dose to take regardless if your deficient or not.
Best to take with a fatty meal.
              Sunbathing is the best scenario.
If you're gonna take vitamins, try to find ones packed in olive oil instead of fish oil or other pufa oil.

As far as your stomach thing, I visit my mother once a month and eat lots of bread and other starches and when I come back home and start drinking lots of milk again it takes a few days to get used to it again.
If you absorb the calcium then it's probably not the milk that is the problem. Could be starches, could be high fat diet, could be insufficient sugar, you will have to experiment.

eggs have more if you toss the yolks out. but then they have like no calories and you have to eat 1000 of them.

lmao moron, the yolk is where literally all the gains are.

      >Age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia) is a prevalent condition associated with disability and mortality. Exercise and optimal nutrition are interventions to prevent and treat sarcopenia, yet little is known, outside of protein, of the effect of common nutrition recommendations and medication use on exercise-related muscle gain.
      >Forty-nine community-dwelling, 60- to 69-year-old men and women completed 2 weeks of nutrition education (American Dietetic Association recommendations) followed by 12 weeks of high intensity resistance exercise training (RET) with postexercise protein supplementation and 3x/wk dietary logs.
      >We observed a dose-response relationship between dietary cholesterol (from food logs) and gains in lean mass that was not affected by variability in protein intake. Serum cholesterol and the serum cholesterol lowering agent statin were also independently associated with greater increases in lean mass. Dietary cholesterol was not associated with serum cholesterol or the significant reduction in blood pressure observed, but trends were observed for altered plasma C-reactive protein.

can mean anything from 0.1% reduced body fat to 5%
this just reads like they try to sell eggs as "le superfood" when in reality it is just one small of many parts of the whole puzzle

Because it's not just protein content. Eggs by their nature have everything necessary to grow life. They also promote faster tissue growth/repair-before dianabol was used instead, doctors used to prescribe high-egg diets to burn victims

      >doctors used to prescribe high-egg diets to burn victims
This has to be a fricking joke. If I get third degree burns and my doctor is telling me to eat some eggs I'm snapping his shit up then and there.
It's like when I went to my (female) doctor with suicidal chronic depression and she said (no fricking joke): clean your room and meet with friends. Never went to that b***h ever again.

When I say high egg, I mean really fricking high (30+ a day). It puts the body in a state of positive nitrogen balance which speeds up tissue repair.
