Why are so many politicians/leaders fatsos?

Why are there so little fit politicians/leaders nowadays?

In ancient times, most leaders would be considerably fit, since it displays power

Cause the western world is defined by its decadence, consoomerism, and degeneracy, so it’s no surprise the leaders are perfect representation of that. Bodies left to waste, used for hedonism and covered with an expensive veneer to cover its rotten core

You believe the whole show is real. It isn't. None of it is. Covid was planned at decades ago. The early plans go at least as far back as the 50s, and the R&D and patents go at least as far back as the 90s. The "war" between RU and UA? Really? The same people control both countries. Fentanyl Floyd riots weren't planned and executed to treat blacks better in American society. How anyone can believe that shit is insane.
It's all a colorful show for the masses to distract and divide themselves.

They're not. The Ukrainian military is getting demolished piece-by-piece. Which should be a big fricking wakeup call for NATO, considering that the Ukrainian military has been trained by NATO for the last 8 years, is the 2nd largest in Europe after Russia, and NATO whizzbangs cannot inflict enough attrition against 60k shells and rockets a day - which NATO artillery stockpiles cannot currently sustain.

                >According to CIA analysts
Was this not the assumption on the part of the Russians as well? It didn't seem like they expected a relatively prolonged conflict considering their supply shortages at the start of the conflict and the fired generals as mentioned previously.

I think they expected a Thunder Run or Desert Storm. However, drones and missiles have put the nail in the coffin of the blitzkrieg that militaries have been training for over the last 80 years or so.

What is impressive is how quickly the Russians adapted to this new way of war, where weight of artillery fire directed by drone swarms and small infantry attacks nibbling on territory carry the day. As it turns out, with modern technology, conventional war between peer powers more resembles WW1 than WW2. I don't think any NATO army can sustain 1-200 KIA and ~1000 casualties a day while expending 60,000 rounds of artillery without logistical or political breakdown. To win a war with Russia -based on the first high intensity peer conflict we've seen in decades- , you're going to need to bring back the draft, bring back manufacturing, and bring back crude chauvinistic nationalism.

This, much of the west’s economy is based off the trade of information/entertainment and not actual physical industry or goods. There are millions of buyers out there for agricultural and power supplies which Russia holds a huge share in. Long term if the west does not change its economic model we will ultimately become the losers due to attrition.

They have access to Chinese markets; ARM China literally went rogue last year. And these tech companies have a substantial portion of their talent from poaching products of the Russian and Chinese education systems. The Chinese borders have been mostly closed, and isolating Russia makes poaching their guys easier.

The West will have to knuckle down, invest in a productive economy, and actually develop their human capital. Desert Storm and even Afghanistan.
They conquered every major city very swiftly while Russia hasn't conquered Kiev in 4 months (which is very close to its borders.

The US conducted oversea operarions in very long ranges and showed extremely efficient logistics. However, winning battles is not equal to winning a war.

The US captured Afghanistan's major cities, inflicted around 1 or 2 million casualties on Vietnam, however, attriction led them to leave.

The same can happen pretty much to Russia in Ukraine, where they have shown terrible logistics and military competence against a "troony" army led by a clown

The US can't hit recruiting goals because zoomers are too fat and drug addicted, and of the 20-30% that would make the cut - only ~10% are even interested. Essentially, the people were have been dumb enough to go die in Iraq and Afghanistan have been so demoralized by this experience that they told their sons not to enlist. This is not an unsolvable problem - go read about the state of the military in the 1970s - but it is a big fricking problem.

And homosexualry, diversity, and overpriced gadgets whose inventory you cannot replace in a year aren't the way you fix it.

                https://www.nbcnews.com/news/military/every-branch-us-military-struggling-meet-2022-recruiting-goals-officia-rcna35078
                >The pool of those eligible to join the military continues to shrink, with more young men and women than ever disqualified for obesity, drug use or criminal records. Last month, Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConville testified before Congress that only 23% of Americans ages 17-24 are qualified to serve without a waiver to join, down from 29% in recent years.

                >An internal Defense Department survey obtained by NBC News found that only 9% of those young Americans eligible to serve in the military had any inclination to do so, the lowest number since 2007.

The US military has massive structural problems if it wants to win a war with Russia or China, based on the performance of the largest and most heavily armed (non-Russian) military in Europe against it. This isn't unsolvable; there is a lot of wasted human capital in the US; the country is the home of a plurality of Fields Medalists of the last decade, and American subgroups historically outperform their foreign counterparts in cognitive tests like the PISA (USian Asians > native Asians, USian Whites > European Whites, etc). To me, it's sheer hubris to honestly look at the Russian performance against the massive, NATO-trained, high IQ (UA IQ is ~97, US IQ ~98) military, and conclude that things are fine as is - and that sweeping reforms are not needed.

That's sorta the problem. The Stingers that Ukraine has fired off in the last ~6months will take 3-4 years to replenish (so realistically 5-6). If smart munitions are getting gobbled up at this rate and surge manufacturing is that slow, NATO is not ready for this sort of war.

No wonder they are not more united than ever before, adding Finland and Sweden as allies and foccusing their massive economies on war machines.

              >Yeah, it has already woken up NATO.
Good, but NATO will have to implement serious reforms in their industrial capacity and energy policy if they want to be seen as a strong bloc that neutral countries want to be aligned with.

Right now, the Russians are better. This isn't the end of the world; it's happened before - the Red Army of the 1970s was doctrinally and technologically superior to NATO. But it will take a decade to fix.

By every one. Russia has only lost around 2000 men in Ukraine, despite all of Nato uniting against them. If Nato were to invade Ukraine, they would have had at least 25,000 casualties if not more.

Newsmaxx themselves have claimed the numbers are impossible to verify so I'm not sure you can really use them to definitively give a single number

                >Nobody really knows how many combatants or civilians have died, and claims of casualties by government officials — who may sometimes be exaggerating or lowballing their figures for public relations reasons — are all but impossible to verify.

                >Russia's last publicly released figures for its own forces came March 25, when a general told state media that 1,351 soldiers had been killed and 3,825 wounded.

                >Ukraine and Western observers say the real number is much higher: Zelenskyy said Thursday that more than 30,000 Russian servicemen have died — “more than the Soviet Union lost in 10 years of the war in Afghanistan”; in late April, the British government estimated Russian losses at 15,000.

                >Speaking on condition of anonymity Wednesday to discuss intelligence matters, a Western official said Russia is “still taking casualties, but ... in smaller numbers.” The official estimated that some 40,000 Russian troops have been wounded.

                >In Moscow-backed separatist enclaves in eastern Ukraine, authorities have reported over 1,300 fighters lost and nearly 7,500 wounded in the Donetsk region, along with 477 dead civilians and nearly 2,400 wounded; plus 29 civilians killed and 60 wounded in Luhansk.
                https://www.newsmax.com/world/globaltalk/russia-ukraine-war-100-days/2022/06/03/id/1072751/

OAN has similarly not been providing a definitive number

                >Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday that Russia had sustained “significant losses” in Ukraine, which its troops entered on Feb. 24 in what it calls a “special military operation”.

                >Russia’s defence ministry said on March 25, its most recent update, that 1,351 Russian soldiers had been killed since the start of the campaign, and 3,825 had been wounded.

                >German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said two days later that at least 10,000 Russian soldiers had probably been kill
