i woudn't say they are many but rather there are more anorexic women than men.

first thing is that it's not about being '' thin and therefore pretty and losing weight", it's about having control over your body, thinking about food all the time ( you tend to have weird food ritual, food ''allowed'' and food '' forbidden but mostly you try to eat as little as possible) and trying to reach an impossible goal, i know there are as many reason to '' not eat'' as there are anorexic girl but for my case it was '' as long as the number on the scale goes down, i'm good'

      Are you a woman?
For me it was the opposite when I was tired of being fat and started losing weight,I HATED seeing the scale go down and looking like shit at 60 something kilos so I started taking Sarms to bulk up while shredded, for now Im only doing sarms ,I dont plan on hopping on roids but who knows in the future.

we are the opposite because average beauty standard differ on male and female body ( i remember an old saying from the 90's '' a women is never too rich or too thin" i guess a man is never too rich or too buff with the same point of view ) , but in the end we are both obsessed by it the same way
i think it's important to realize how this number on the scale gives us an objective data, a ''grade'' like we used to have at school to evaluate us ( and it used to be the same thing with the clothes size, past a certain number you were '' a fatty ' and you had to move to the '' plus size classes'' )
since we are on an anonymous portuguese house building imageboard no one remember what i've been rambling about for month but i always say that my brain goes into meltdown mode went i hit the 60 kilos cap and for some reason, being at 59.5 kilos is okay...it makes no sence, but i still do anyway

        > I dont plan on hopping on roids but who knows in the future.
i'm neither a doctor nor your mom, but i wish you really avoid this option because once you're into roiding it might be really hell to go back to natty, not to mention all the unfortunate side effect

i'm glad you are into this mindset, you don't need roid, you are not forced by anyone, you did great this far, it's your body and you are the boss, the owner and the resident, you make the rules, yagmi

Nice simping but as has been pointed out like 2% of women suffer from anorexia while at least 20% are way overweight and should lose it while another 20% would look better and be healthier by losing a few pounds - this is particularly the case the older they get. No prizes for being thin when you're 18-21. Also it doesn't take time and energy to be anorexic except maybe a little indirectly in the planning - you are literally just not doing something.

Meanwhile lifting can be incredibly harmful for your health, particularly if you go into roids/sarms but even just bulking/cutting, very high protein diets, lifting heavy (wear and tear or injury risk) and so on.

            >Also it doesn't take time and energy to be anorexic except maybe a little indirectly in the planning - you are literally just not doing something.

it's actually exausting living with this, you think it's just about laying down and do nothing all day ? kek, no, you are constantly doing something about ""not eating'' and you have to deal with your everyday life at the same time, all your life revolves around '' not eating'', it's either planning every single food intake to make sure you have the bare minimum, working out and exercise to burn as much calories as possible
and what will take the most energy is, hiding it, lying about it ( and trust me, stopping eating like normal people will affect your social life, so many event are centered about sharing a meal ) pretending you are okay while you are not, but you don't care, you think you are fine this way and its the only way to live you life.
and the funniest thing about that, is that you don't even like how you look in the mirror, but you think that if you didn't do all this shit, you will feel worst about yourself.

and i'm just talking about anorexia nervosa, add the bulimia to the equation and you get the mental illness with the highest mortality rate.

because they're bombarded with advertising telling them they're not skinny enough in order to sell things, and that shit has a psychological price tag, and it fricks people up.

it's a bit different for males, who are bombarded with images of strong, muscular, successful man. in fact, that's why most of you are here right now - dedicated pursuit of a relatively extreme goal. but probably still healthier than what females are dunked with.

Not enough anorexic women. Better when they're under 20. It is undescribably erotic how they destroy their body for my sexual pleasure. Reminder that if you know any of them irl you can ruin their MONTH with a little comment like "oh you're having that too? I thought you already had breakfast..."

Women also experience self-hatred, it's kind of a universal experience when you perceive yourself.
