    A shitty diet wrecks gains. They could be telling the truth about going to the gym, but it won't matter if they eat two entire pizzas and drink a gallon of beer every day. You need to track your calories and protein.

    Our own bodies are the worst gains goblins of all. Ive gone through months at a time not being able to add weight, not being able to eat enough. Its exhausting and thats while being a neet.
    People who work have almost no time to do it all properly.

    In my experience it's easier to look skinfat if you go from being auschwitz mode to having a normal amount of muscle. It's just a much longer journey for some people especially if they started after puberty.

    Adding to what some of the others have said, you can really waste a lot of time if you're on a program with no progression scheme.
    Additionally, if they're working out after work, maybe they're exhausted and cannot work out with sufficient intensity.

    If they're anything like the people in my gym they do laps of the gym on their phones or jump on a treadmill for 2 minuets before going back to their phones. They have no plan to get fit.

    I just don't like eating so much. I can eat like one sausage and few pieces of bread or whatever leftovers from dinner my mom made. It's all so I get full and I can come back to my real ihobbies.
