If you get injured by kettlebell work you're an actual moron or a pussy with no core strength, im sorry a literal inanimate piece of equipment is triggering you so much you had to cry about it on IST

It's a preference, personally I think they're better for if you want to do actual work. If you're doing any kind of manual labor, most things you do will not be like lifting a dumbbell, most loads will be off balance, oftentimes you're picking stuff up with a handle and the weight is below it, like a kettlebell.
I work on farms and so I'd prefer to do stuff that's more similar to actual work rather than things that are for convenience, but it's a preferential thing, I don't think people should shill these as the end all be all, they won't help you in a desk job.

In my experience there's a marked difference between working out when its emulating real world movements vs. more static movements at gym. But like you said, its very much a preference and any sort of fitness with increasing loads is good. Some prefer more wiry body and stamina and others go for the big muscles, its all good.

      Oh hey you too

      What's your kettlebell routine anon?
      >t. Rural anon with dreams of a simple life raising chickens, crops and wrastlin' with my kids before my time is up.

I'm also a rural homegym kettlebell enthusiast. What you do comes down to what you want, i mostly want upper body growth, stability in my core and work on my glutes/hams so i hit:

      Halo
      Clean and press
      Snatch
      Racked squat
      RDL
      Swings
      Bulgarian split squats
      Bicep curl
      Bent row
      Upright row
      Lat raises
      Pyramid of pain

I also am working towards pull ups and push ups and other shit. I also do cardio by walking around my local area and help out in the community. Also make friends with farmers so you can get extra cash/gains during season.

    >uncomfortable and unbalanced
Go do doublehanded clean squat and press at 24kg+ per dumbell and get back to us.

      >clean squat and press
why would I do that when I can just do squats and OHP with a barbell?

It's just DYELs with post purchase rationalisation, also called buyer's Stockholm syndrome. They thought they were smarter than everyone for not joining a gym or buying a rack and barbell. So they keep coping with their "appreciation" threads. Notice that none of them ever post body.

They're much better than dumbbells for a home gym because you can do full body movements with them. Dumbbells are useless for fat loss, all they're good for are curls and flys

Anyone who shits on kettlebell work as a practice just doesn't understand what they're talking about. It's like saying "swimming isn't lifting!" like it's some kind of own. That's how moronic you sound. It's lifting-adjacent perhaps, but it's a different thing, generally with a different purpose and outcome. And it fricking rules son.
