Being Japanese, baths are a part of my daily routine. It allows me to de-stress and detox my body. Along with it's multiple health benefits, such as preventing dementia, it allows a time for me to clean out my thoughts, and relax.
>baths r gross!! you literally sit in your own filth!!
If you're SO dirty that taking a bath makes the water "filthy" then lmfao. Your personal hygiene needs some work. If it really bothers you THAT much, then just shower off after or beforehand.

One time I met a stranger at a hotel and he gave me a bath and put me in a diaper
homie what
Same, the guy I met put me in a diaper and used a hitachi on my girl tinkler while he sucked on my breasts. After I came in the diaper he fricked my ass while I fricked the cum soaked diaper like an onahole.
Good times
The Aristocrats.
Kys
I take a bath once a week but I do a sink bird bath every night, just my ass and armpits.
Not all of us work in an air conditioned office Chang
>it's
its
r gross
>using capitalization mid sentence
you're not japanese, post body
shut up autist
I'm 6ft4 and the bath is too small.
Because white people dont get bad body odor like shitskins. I can lick my wifes butthole clean after hear sweaty gym session and itll still taste like strawberries.
>white people don't get bad body odor
lmfao
How to say you don't have a wife without saying you don't have a wife: delusion edition.
Go back to TikTok zoom zoom.
Cope.
When you're used to smelling like wet dog and spoiled milk that matches your skintone your entire life, you don't notice it i suppose
The reality is different races have different smells, but generally you can’t smell your own races distinct scent. People describe white people as smelling like wet dogs or rotten milk, black props smelling like sulfur or rotten eggs.
It also seems some people can’t smell these racial scents at all, and some people smell it stronger than others. There are some poor explanations of why these smells occur (people like to attribute it to some environmental factor like diet or laundry detergent) but it’s much more likely it’s about some difference in oil production in the skin.
It’s not true at all that Asians don’t smell, it’s some meme pop science, they just don’t produce a certain type of sweaty smell, but this isn’t the type of smell of ethnic characteristic but more just general bad sweaty smell.
I am hypersensitive to these smells so it’s hard for me to imagine how people live together with someone of a different race, because the odor is so strong to me, where I know other people who are unable to smell it.
I’m unable to smell it. But get told by other races that I smell good.
My friend has a filipino wife (we're pure hwite) and she smells different. Kind of earthy, I guess?
Asians smell a lot like wet grass and rust to me, so makes sense.
It's so strange, I know many other people who are unable to smell it, some who only smell it if the person already stinks (they realize that the stinks of different people smell different), and others like me who its like constant smell unless they have perfect hygiene and cover it up with some scents.
It’s literally just diet, moron.
This is why no women approach you...
Found the smelly guy
>he doesn't know
this is the complete opposite asians lack a the gene that break down a certain bacteria that causes bo ie. asian people dont smell like we smell
Other races say white people smell like wet dogs. You just like your own smell and think it's good.
Is this news? Every race likes their own smell and dislikes others.
It apparently is news to some people, yes, as evidenced by some of the comments in this thread.
You're not married and you've never had sex.
I'm not. I like to take baths and read. Unfortunately my life sucks ass so I'm too busy to do it frequently now.
I never got the shower thing myself -- all showers are cold showers the moment you turn the water off and you're standing there drenched.
This -- lie back in a hot bath with a good book. When the water starts to get cool, that's the time to stop reading and start washing.
Yes, also good for sweating out a cold. Add Eucalyptus oil to help steam the nose clean.
I think you have a bit of a misread at least as far as men are concerned. It’s sort of seen as a feminine/childish thing to do here. I think baths are great. Soaking your balls is unironically bad for test and fertility though
Baths r comfy 1/2
Baths r comfy 2/2
>floating in the same water that your anus is for more than 3 minutes
Just imagine those dry poop clumps that hang on the hair of the butthole (tarzans as we call them in Chile) disolving in the tub and you making bubbles with your mouth at the same time
Id rather have dementia
Get a toilet seat bidet
Wash your ass, dude. If you have dried shit in your ass crack that's 100% a you problem.
>tarzans we call them in Chile
Kek
lmao we call them the same in Italy (tarzanelli), I wonder where this trend started
Figures you Latin types with more... luxurious body hair would have to have its own word for it.
kek yeah that part makes perfect sense to me but it's curious that we both use Tarzan to address them. It's too specific so my guess is that we share a common source that popularized this term
>(tarzans as we call them in Chile)
>sitting still in a bathtub of still water is relaxing
I could just have a quick shower and do something actually relaxing with the time saved
>Why Are Westerners Afraid of Baths?
We're not. /thread
you sound white
I simply dislike the heat all over my body and I feel "closed in". Also, I'm too tall for almost all bathtubs.
Body temperature shower 2x/day is enough for me.
Baths are cozy. Sharing the same bath water with your entire family is just gross though. That's my critique of Japanese bath culture.
Yea baths are alright, but nothing beats sauna.
The perfect combination of cleansing and relaxation.
Motherfrickers walk around the house with outside shoes and then you wonder why they dislike baths lol
Current apartment doesn't have a tub or I would, I love baths. Theyre the primary way I relax when my job gets stressful.
>picture of a bubble bath
>being Japanese
The only japanese thing about you is your tiny dick. The japs wash their body with a shower before entering their "bath", which is just a hot water sauna.
I live in Japan but I just don't really get the bath culture.
Sitting in a bath doing nothing is boring, I don't know why Japanese like it so much.
You don't even clean yourselves in the bath, you do it before getting in. All you do is sit there and "relax"
If you go there on Monday or Thursday, you get more charm points.
>most bathtubs are uncomfortably small
>takes way more time
>uses more hot water
I enjoy baths but they are simply less practical
kek, whatever it takes to frick the MILF doctor
>Sitting in a bath doing nothing is boring
Just put your phone on speaker and listen to a book, set it on a stand and watch youtube/shitflix/hbomax, or just shitpost. They are all waterproof these days.
Japanese and Westerners do not take baths the same way. Japanese people take baths after having showered and washed themselves and use the bath for relaxation. Westerners would use a bath strictly to clean themselves, as an alternative to showering.
The actual equivalent in the west are hot tubs.
>detox
Shut the frick up, Black person homosexual. On topic, I take a bath when I'm sick and my body can't decide if it is cold or warm, and I break out in sweats. It's nice to finally get a equilibrium.
>detox
I live in a tiny flat and don't have a bath, only a shower. I think I took a bath twice in my life while staying in a hotel. Loved it a lot. Maybe someday I'm gonna make it and move to a house with a bath.
Op, that's not a bath in Japan. Baths in Japan are automated and fill from the bottom up.
Ones with taps are old and usually share a water source with the shower leading to obvious piping.
Shut the frick up gay
>leading to obvious piping
what did he mean by this?
I'm not, but I'm 6'4" tall, I rent, I don't own a house, and the average bathtub is nowhere near big enough for me to stretch out in and soak, so it's just inconvenient.
>dump a kilo salt in the bath
>plug in earplugs
>lie there while water thunders in
>once full I add muscle relaxant and bubblebath
>soak
>scrub all dat dead skin
>drain water while floating some more
>shower to get rid of the grime
>go to bed and sleep like the dead
>wake up to shitpost on IST
Comfy as.
Sadly too much salt dries my skin out and makes me itchy
Baths are for women and loafabouts. Men of action can't be bothered to take baths.
Excuse me what, baths are for men who WORK HARD AND RELAX HARD
hot baths are scientifically great for muscle gains and bloodflow
just like anything a grown ass man does- you make the time. you can pay bills from your phone in a bath. do you clean your vehicle obsessively because of work? take a bath after giving your car a bath. you have time you need to realize it. you sound like you dont do well at relaxing, and should probably focus on that.
taking a bath is against my german efficiency.
Why bath for half an hour if you can just shower for 5min? Also showers have a big tradition in german history like some of you may know
>showers have a big tradition in german history like some of you may know
Took me a second to get. Not bad, Krout.
i miss baths
this pos house doesn't have one though
We created baths, you dumb frick
Asians smell like fish and rotten legumes
I don't like making soup of my filth. As a jap you are well aware of tbe showers you must take before getting into a public bath. Using a bath to clean yourself is for guys who spend their day sitting cross legged and make gay little sighing sounds if they splash some of ther smoothie on their baby blue shirt.
This isn't hard.
>quick shower to rinse dirt/sweat
>fill tub for nice soapy bath
>quick shower to rinse soap off
Or is that too much work for an fatmerican?
In Norway bathing is really common. At least it was.
Our parents' generation (and older) had them, but looking at houses and apartments now there's pretty much never a bath, just shower cabinets.
Yeah i think it started going out of fashion in the 90's and 2000. At that time people started changing out bathtubs or getting showers instead.
My free time is very limited, I get home at 6pm, that gives me like 4 hours to work out, eat and read before I go to bed for my 6am start. I'm not wasting an hour doing nothing.
Read while relaxing in the bath.
>that gives me like 4 hours to work out, eat and read
And browsing IST, don't forget browsing IST
As an adult male I find that most bathtubs simply don't fit me, and I'm too frugal to remodel the bathroom when the shower works just fine.
The water and electric bills associated with baths is what bothers me. They really are comfy though.
You can use the bathwater to flush the toilet and water the garden.
I don't have time to sit in a bath.
I'm a grown ass man.
I have a business to run, bills to pay, shopping to do, food to make, meals to eat, a vehicle to clean, lifts to be had, a fiance to frick.
How do you fit bathtime into your day?
Yet you still find time to use this site. Get in the bath larper
It's generally perceived as childish/feminine to take baths.
Baths are pretty nice though. Very comfy.
Picrelated barrels are amazing outdoors in cold weather. I can sit there the whole day. Too bad it takes a while to heat all the water.
I love taking baths as well, but pouring so much hot water is expensive, so I limit it to once a month as a treat.
I live in Australia which is in perpetual drought. Baths use more water than showers.
The bathtubs in America suck
That's why
Fricking disgusting, an activity reserved for children and the elderly
It uses more water, you can't piss or shit without feeling nasty, and its just plain lazy to not be able to stand for a period of time
this is your brain on internalized neo-slavey. your ancestors are disappointed
>you can't piss or shit without feeling nasty
Or you could just get out of the tub and take a shit in the toilet like a normal person.
i shower before i bathe but bathing takes too long its a luxury
During the winter I take hot baths, during the summer I take cold baths, I actually never really shower unless I'm on a hurry
