All of the west has the exact same food habits as the United States. Maybe the US has more corn syrup but the fact remains. And plenty of western countries are fat as frick and many aren’t. It’s a shitload to do with culture you fricking idiot. Colorado is the least obese state in the US. Might be because the only thing to do in Colorado is climb and hike and talk about doing those.

Then of course there’s beauty standards. In Japan if you’re not slim as a woman you’re vilified. In the US you’re fetishised by degenerates and empowered by moronic 20 year old women

And eating after working hard is enjoyable. You don't have to be a fatass to find enjoyment in eating and tasting food. Not only have humans evolved to enjoy eating solid food, but the body is built to digest solid food.

        >pea protein is almost as good as eggs
        pea protein
it's not all peas though, it's also shit-tier protein like brown rice. peas still only have 75% amino acid score compared to milk protein. and of course, all that garbo contains phytoestrogen, won't be surprised if it gives you pea farts too.
and all that costs 1.68 pounds per meal? at least just buy standalone peas for crying out loud, they're cheap as hell. Huel is just overpriced garbage for soijak types.
        >imagine being scared of vitamins
are you moronic? the point is, I'd rather get vitamins from real food, and if I took a multivitamin, I'd just buy a multivitamin, simple as. I don't want to pay extra for it to ~~*Huel*~~ for inferior goyslop tier """meal replacement""".

flax is literally worse the soi hormonally and they only put it in there to pad it's "omega 3 content" even though it's all short chain. I'd rather they just double on the coconut and stop sweating about the saturated fat content. They killed all the places where you could source the ingredients and make it yourself without. The flax also makes the solution clump a lot more when mixed with water so you get explosions of dust nuggets periodically. Everything else I kind of like about it and could see replacing a meal or two a day with it but just having flax every day makes it an absolute deal breaker. I only use what I have left when I'm out of groceries but don't want to get take out.

it's weird little seed with hydrophobic properties vegans started shoveling it into their gullets when they found out their all cause mortality is worse than every category of meat consumer and vegetarians. Because they thought the chronic inflammatory issues and dementia they were getting was from a shortage of omega 3's and b-12. They eventually settled on just fudging the numbers and outright lying but you get the picture.

Are you honestly gonna say huel is shit because it cotains 400kcal in this specific shake? A lot of people/hardgainers would benefit greatly from it. IST literally suggests making your own shakes at home with a ton of protein and "only around 300-400 kcals" for breakfast and shit, don't be moronic its literally the same thing except huel has a bunch of more "healthy" kcals rather than ice-cream mixed with whey and milk

        >except huel has a bunch of more "healthy" kcals rather than ice-cream mixed with whey and milk
Okay fatty, the first thing that comes to your mind is ice cream lmao. 400kcal is not an inbetween meal, it's a meal of it's own.
        >hard gainer

          Anonymous

Just because you can't control yourself and every single meal you consume is over 700kcal doesn't mean everybody has these big massive meals and benefit greatly from shakes that contain 300-400 kcals. Try not being american.

    >its a great alternative to your post workout shake.
again: how the frick is it a """great""" alternative? how so?
whey is likely the best protein you can find. any plant protein is worse, period. you don't like whey? just eat food. chicken, greek yoghurt, etc. you know, something that isn't processed garbage.
need vitamins? great, take a multivitamin. ACTUAL good vitamin, not some Flintstones tabs tier vitamin. I don't know the quality of the "vitamin mix" they add to Huel, could be shit-grade vitamins on the level of what they "enrich" cereals with. I'd much rather spend my money on a quality supplement from a good company, will still be less money than Huel.
don't want a multivitamin? again, just eat actual fricking food. fruits, veggies, meat, eggs, etc.
    >MORE VITAMIN C THAN ORANGE
holy shit, almost like picrelated, sign me the frick up. why would anyone want orange juice when picrelated exists?

you're clearly a vegan shill and outed yourself enough times already.
"meat is processed" is stupid. it's just cooked. it has no phytoestrogens or FODMAP. don't like store-bought meat? buy it from farmers, problem solved.
don't want meat? there's always milk and eggs that you can consume raw, or just with lightest "processing", like cooked eggs or cultured dairy products (eg yoghurt).

          Anonymous

          >there's always milk and eggs that you can consume raw
except you can't, raw milk will kill you and raw eggs have salmonella, stop listening to "Dr" Berg the Scientology moron

            Anonymous

if you're afraid of it, most basic "processing" like pasteurization and sterilization for eggs is enough. I never said raw was better and I don't consume them raw, I just said that the amount of "processing" in them is minimal. cooked egg protein is also better absorbed, so just eat cooked eggs.
            >raw eggs have salmonella
salmonella is on the shell of the egg, not inside. Japanese eat raw eggs all the time.

Probably not, tbh. Maybe if I were in a pinch/emergency and just needed something to keep going for a few hours but not if I had time to cook or otherwise had food prepped/available at the time.
I am slowly moving more and more toward being a whole food purist, to the point I even try to buy minimally processed flour and the like. While I don't really buy into any conspiracies about the intentional degradation of the food supply, I do think maximally processed and refined foods are generally a bad idea. And if you're having to isolate protein from fricking rice then what's even the point? Just eat some fricking rice. It'll probably be better for you.

When the frick did "cooked" become equatable to "processed"?
