OMG WATER USAGE, BAD FOR ENVIRONMENT

You know damn well the real problem is the waste that the agro-industrial complex produces, seeing as it won't sell its products at a loss...

So how about instead, we provide each and every household with a plot of land, and enough livestock to self-sustain themselves, at no waste?

Oh that's right, you israelites depend on other people remaining without the tools to become self-sustainable, actually truly so.
You'd rather turn this earth into concrete megacities of pods with soulless cricket farms as far as the eye can see, if it means you get to keep power over others...
So no. We could save the Earth and all own an orchard, a veggie patch, a few poultries and dairy cows. What we can't do, is have the same billion industries the israelite owns, keep pumping out billions of chickens and cows with not even 25% getting turned into products that will be consumed.
Talk about sustainability once again homosexual. I dare you.

Frick you pussy. We need a culling. Obliterate 90% of the Chinese, 90% of the Africans, 60% of the Americans (north and south) and about 50% of Europe.
We need war, war, war, for decades. We need a war that costs the lives of several billion.

actually you are if you look at in terms of
              most likely to reproduce
most years left to live and consume
not saying you should be but if you want to curb growth you have to look for the areas most likely to cause growth next rather than trying to correct after the fact. Also you're a white man (theoretically) so like if something bad is going to be allowed to happen to a group of people by the governments "for the good of the whole" it's going to be your cross section of society.

        >genuinely caring about our future is le joos!

You're so dishonest. It's how most of the human population knows that you are being misguided about your approach. You are not benevolent at all and your true intentions show in the methods with which you choose to approach the notion of sustainability for our Earth itself.
You know that its the corporations of the food and drug industry which generate the most food waste, and food waste is not even 5% of the total equation when it comes to GHG emissions, or our global ecologic footprint.
Until you refuse to acknowledge that the only way to reduce food based carbon emissions is to reduce transport/logistics of import/exports, which means to provide people locally with both the space, and meager infrastructure needed to begin sustainable local farms for family households, you have not, and you will not solve the issue of the food industry's impact on the environment.
The only culprit here is the systematic, corporatist approach to food production, and changing people over to a diet of crickets will not solve 1% of our world's environmental problem.
If anything, it will also have countless environmental impacts and aspects such as can be caused by insect borne diseases (mosquitos, larvae) as well as actual true plagues of locusts, crickets which can decimate crops.
If anything we should not be introducing billions of new insects onto our Earth.

Don't be dishonest. You know the true way to reduce waste is to give back to people the means to be self-sustainable themselves. If people had to slaughter their own poultry, gather their own eggs, or make their own veggie/fruit harvests. We would consume less, we would waste less. And gather a true understanding of actually ecologically conscious practices.
Going one step further into cement dystopias is not the answer. Anyone who defends going even further into corporate food industry strategies is actually mentally ill. Nature is easy, and simple.

if you want to live in the agrarian era you can literally go do with the probably less than $500 dollars you have in your bank right now. Oh wait you don't want to, and no one else wants to, and the only way you could possibly have your way is with some kind authoritarianism that requires some kind global military and economic disarmament to work so your country doesn't get snatched up by your first mildly ambitious and not stupid neighbor or better yet all the people who don't want to live that way. So just keep spewing your impotent hippy masturbation on the internet. The degree of fantasy is so laughable you mise well be talking literally becoming druids.

Do normies reading this have schizophrenia or what? This is a total horseshit.

You can keep two pigs quite comfortably in 20m^2, let's say you get 200kg of meat from that, and let's say on average it has 20g of protein per 100g, that's 40000g of protein. Divide 20 by 40000, that's 0.0005m^2 required per gram of protein.

For chicken too, you can keep 20 chickens quite comfortably on 100m^2 area. Egg has 7g of protein, and let's say 10 out of 20 chickens lay eggs daily, that's 70 g of protein, divide 100 by 70, that's 1.4m^2.
Even if you calculate in the wheat you buy, let's say you feed 1kg of wheat to them (gross overestimate but still, for the sake of argument), that raises your required area by 365, so 465/70 = 5.7m^2 per gram.
