Why bother with dedicated cardio when you can do sportsball?
>doesn't feel like exercising despite you rooning back and forth for about an hour
>social event where you can meet people
>fixed schedule where others depend on you, so it's harder to skip out on
>gives you a way to answer the dreaded hobby question

I am socially awkward anon...
joining a sportsball is a good way to overcome that though
Wrong. It would make it worse. The high pressure of winning and making sure you make a few mistakes as possible to not disappoint people is the exact opposite of what you should do to build confidence. Start smaller. Joining a rec league is in the endgame not the start.
I am bad at team sports and always got bullied out of it even though I really enjoyed them, especially football and soccer
It's much better and lots of fun. Unfortunately we live in the Puritan States of America and exercise has to be miserable. It's either running in a straight line, swimming laps in a pool, or pedaling a subscription based, IoT-connected exercise bike for you.
>we live in the Puritan States of America and exercise has to be miserable
Puritans are extreme supporters of team sports. Basketball and football both developed in New England. The USA has some of the most funding for amateur college athletics of any country on earth. Get your head out your ass. Adult clubs and rec leagues exist.
This is definitely how exercise has been marketed to the general public. Which is why so many people don't do it and fall i to the depths of hell with being a fat frick reliant on the medical industry. Kinda sad, since athletics are such an amazing way to develop strength, agility, endurance, and balance and coordination while allowing you to display your gym gainz in style.
I did a team sports for the first time in a while today. A few years since I've done any competative sports, I think I stopped boxing 5 or 6 years ago. 1hr game, halfway through my lungs were on fire and I was having trouble catching my breath on the bench. Legs were burning like I haven't felt in years. It was great. Its a weekly game, I plan on going every time I can make it. Still gonna do a weights regularly, but the sports will become a regular thing absolutely. May even look to join one of those co-ed fun leagues the city manages so I can sports more.
Seriously. Go sportsmaxxing! There's so many you don't even need equipment for.
Frick you I do zwift and I'm a fricking toaster
I am married to Baltimore btw
I'm planning to join my college's basketball team after being a NEET for the first year, wagmi
That's not a neet
Dope, Basketball is based.
I hope you actually make, Anon. Don't pussy out.
I joined a rugby team and HALF those dudes are gay. Not into it.
>basketball
>moronic foul rules, a bunch of moronic rules in general
>you WILL get Black person sweat all over you
>football(not american)
>alright, sure, but see above
>football(american)
>lol
>most other things
>equipment/rules/playing space will not work for you
Non-striking combat sports are pretty good though. Black person sweat is more easily avoidable here.
>He doesn't play basketball exclusively with other whites only
SEVERELY NGMI
There is a grand total of about 10 white people in my county.

Ah I see, that sucks fren, I always have a great time playing ball with my buddies
I am 35 years old and have 3 kids, all toddlers, 2 still in diapers. My wife has requested I stop playing sports until they’re a bit older and just do cardio at the gym in effort of time
ok?
>you can't play sports but you can still go to the gym and do cardio
You and your wife are idiots. Not that I believe this fake story.
That's ok, Anon. Your wife is actually more understanding than most.
I also started back up when both my kids were a bit older and less depending on constant supervision.
>Why bother with dedicated cardio when you can do sportsball?
Injuries.
weak genetics, your bloodline should fail
But I like rooning. It's fun.
I know nothing about Azur Lane but I recognize this one and she's ridiculous fricking hot goddamn
She's not my dedicated waifu, but Baltimore is certainly top tier in both appearance and personality.
I've played the game on and off for like 2 years and she's one of the few I don't have
I wanna play soccer again but I'm so out of shape and in a foreign country where I don't even know where they meet for it. Plus I always sucked at everything except shooting
I don't know if you count MMA and Grappling as sports ball, but I have two explanations. 1) cardio outside of the sport increases cardio in general, aiding me in my performance whilst doing the sport 2) running is fun, also I feed crows while I do it and they follow me around like an entourage. Luv me runnin, luv me murdah, luv when people look at me runnin, ate not having good cardio, simple as.
>be me
>referee soccer
>even frequently take my bicycle to games instead of car
>tons of cardio, and sportsball in a way
>still hardly meet people
I'm thinking of joining a boxing club but my city is full of Black folk who take shit way too seriously. Last time I played basketball the Black person on the other team tried to fight me simply because I scored the game winning shot on him.
Only sport worth playing is rugby union but I am too short to be a forward and too unco sighted to be a back. Also I suck at socializing without alcohol or an obvious activity related topic of discussion. Can't exactly talk about the game as you play it.
>Baltimore
Built for bbc
I'm black so I'm OK with that
>
Why not something actually fun?
>Exhausts you un seconds
>Full-body workout
>Actually cool
Captcha: WAAXX2
She's so hot bros
Just play pickleball. Easy to pick up but has a really high ceiling. Cheap too and most who play are really friendly.
I want to get into tennis but how do you get started when you don't know anybody who plays or wants to play?
Look into whether there's a tennis club/team near you. At least where I live (western Europe) you can usually take a trial lesson before joining.
I imagine those clubs are full of people who want to play tennis but don't know anyone else who wants to. That's why they join those clubs after all.
To all you homosexuals asking where to go to find sportsball teams or leagues, it's called fricking Google! Do a web search for sportsball in your areas, you morons, it's that easy.
