Why can't they just eat a balanced diet? Are they picky eaters because of their autism? I think that's a pretty common symptom.

It's the same reason alcoholics are addicted to alcohol, smokers are addicted to tobacco, potheads are addicted to marijuana, coke-heads are addicted to cocaine, etc. etc.

Fat asses are addicted to calories. The difference between fat people and non-fat people is that they don't just eat to stay alive, they eat and eat and eat and eat some more (especially high-calorie snacks full of cheap carbs and sugar) because they are addicted to eating.

WHY are they addicted though? Why are you not addicted like them, that is the question. Food is clearly not the same as coke, because then everybody would be "addicted." If these people are "addicted" as you say, then you would have to explain why them and not others, because everybody consumes food.

US "nutrition science" doesn't care for the answer, because that would mean the problem is solved and that means there is no money in it anymore. Too bad.

Not everybody gets addicted to alcohol. I can drink once every few months at parties but other people need to abstain. Its similar but id argue even worse with processed foods thats been designed by "scientists" to be as addictive as possible. Everybody has to eat and we are constantly surrounded by addictive junk foods

You become an alcoholic by taking a first drink and realize you like it, you REALLY like it, and suddenly it’s every weekend, then Friday too, then weeknights, and quickly it’s out of control.

That's BS nobody gets addicted to fast food, and you can take that to the bank.

            >evil scientists experiment in their evil wizard towers until they have found the perfect drug so evil capitalists can make money from poor addicts
This is what shitskin zoomer democrat voters actually believe.

It’s already well known the CIA distributed crack. I’m not saying the gubbermint made fast food, and we’re not just talking about fast food, we’re talking about cheap food that gives a rush equivalent to cocaine. YOU can say no to fries, YOU can have a treat monthly if ever, but others are immediately in need of more fries. More little Debbie’s. More heavy cream pasta with extra cheese. Ever notice how they only ever increase in appetite, they’re never really satisfied, and if reformed they often say they still dream about high calorie foods?

There doesn't need to be any conspiracy about food (outside of the fact that high fructose corn syrup and other highly processed sugars should be outright banned, same with seed oils), the fact is these ultra processed additives are both extremely cheap and very palatable (as expected since they're producing it in the factory so they're going to ensure the end result is extremely tasty). Processed food companies want customers buying their products forever so they have a direct incentive to make their foods as tasty and bingeable. Little Debbie's doesn't want you to just have one cake a week, they want you to have multiple cakes a day.

Again wrong, you become addicted when you lack basic self control to stop doing something.

Do you often shit in the streets in public when you have to poo? Unless you're a pajeet, no you use basic self control. Same for drinking.

People who are alcoholics are basically the same as street shitting pajeets.

Back at my chunkiness in high school I used to be so depressed because Id because I was constantly having leg surgeries on a bone thaf died due to medical neglect and I was also builed due to being autistic. I would lock myself in my room and binge eat boxes of candy or sweets i bought wt the local drug store. It was my only joy. I have an extremely addictive personality I no longer drink or smoke weed cause of this.

i think this is the case. there's also an aspect of processed foods not tied to fun brain chemicals that cause cravings in people who are unhealthy. for example, a lot of people are iodine deficient, and they usually crave salty snack foods because our brains recognize the iodized salt used in these foods as a way to get it when we're low

            Zero. Vaccines are poison.
That doesn't change the fact that addiction is entirely psychological and has nothing to do with any special properties of substances to get its proverbial "hooks" into you.

                Anonymous

People get addicted to meth because of how it makes them feel, not because meth has some magical property of addiction. People are also less likely to get addicted to oranges than candy and less likely to binge eat lean steak than potato chips. It's all psychological and usually develops from coping mechanisms in severely unhappy or broken people. People who are satisfied and secure in their family lives, social lives, and jobs are also far less likely to become addicted to even hard drugs most known for being "addictive."

That's not completely true, many people will easily gain 10+ pounds per year just through goyslop slippage and otherwise be well adjusted individuals. And just getting 50 pounds overweight is enough to be albatross for the rest of your life. We need to differentiate between the 350+ pound mental cases and the people who basically bounce around 230 pounds.

They learned food as a coping mechanism for stress because their parents would feed them ice cream when they were feeling stressed and anxious. Add on top of this the extremely tasty but nutritionally void processed foods and you got people constantly eating like a runaway train.

cocaine addicted rats still chose sugar every time without fail, and even though they were well fed they’d choose to injure themselves with shocks to get sugar.

To me that’s just the facts, they found out how to ratio things to be extremely tasty to most people, and SO rewarding it would be very difficult to stop at one. As shown ITT, it’s considered a conspiracy because apparently not even hard drugs or alcohol are actually addictive! It’s just weak willed people!

Very very very wrong in the autism note. Was neat research for me though, as a lot of research says autistic creatures are skinny because of texture issues or other sensations like taste it fullness that bother them.
On the other hand, they’re also very likely to be sone flavor of overweight/obese. Why? Well, both men and women seem to be under or overweight but rarely healthy. They either hate eating or they really enjoy it. Ironically, probably for the same reasons.
      But and

fat people are usually depressed, and eating chocolates and sugary shit cause the brain to release dopamine. therefore, food makes them feel good when they're feeling down

are on the money. Did you know that anywhere from 8-18% of US adults are depressed? And that’s just those who are ASKED! A whopping 25% are diagnosed with sone type of serious mental illness like a schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, or major depression! Eating DOES make a lot of people feel better, and then feeds into a cycle of hormone disruption, body image shame, and decrease in activity that makes them MORE upset so they eat even MORE!
Did you know that (of active substance abusers) around 27% are likely to have cross addiction (multiple addictions)? To be fair, many addicts don’t even realize that when they stopped drinking/smoking/having sex with strangers they started eating a LOT to fill the new void. And they say they recovered.

So if she ate 13,000 kcals daily, assuming she has a very liberal TDEE of 2,500, then that means each day she is gaining 3+ lbs per day? 21 lbs per week? 90 lbs per month? I know she is definitely overeating (because look at her), but she certainly is not eating that much every day.

Most people do not understand how the body metabolizes food generally, let alone enough to make educated guesses about what to eat for 3 meals a days. Add that fact to the rampant abundance of terrible food and you have our current obesity epidemic. Most people also don't care enough to educate themselves about how their body works or care enough to make good food choices. if you have the option of eating food that tastes good and is cheap and readily available it takes some discipline to cook your own food and seek out food that's acceptable to out in your body. Then to top it off, they get fat and diabetic and go to the doctor who puts them on statins and insulin and they never really change their diet or lifestyle, all the while getting fatter and closer to an early death.
