Why did I shrink?

I used to be 5’11.8 and now I’m 5’9.8 so I lost 2 inches of height in just 1 year.

Why? And more importantly, how do I grow back?

Manlet mentality. You've always been 5'9, no normal person tracks their height this obsessively and to a fraction of an inch. Lying to IST won't make it come true to you.

Gravity strengthened by quite a lot in the past year, that's why. If it keeps going at this rate you'll be the size of a garden gnome in a couple years!

probably doing heavy weights. i spoke to a guy one time he said he dropped from 6'2 to 6'0 because of doing heavy deadlifts

Frick just started doing db deadlifts, hoping they don't affect height like squats do. Is there some max weight before which you're not gonna get any shorter? Like you can't get shorter deadlifting 50 kilos ffs

Hmm, looks like the anti-deadlift schizos are being more underhanded than usual. I gained height from deadlifting because of my exquisite spinal erectors and posture haha

Calcium deficiency. Your body is in desperate need of it so it so it pulls it from your bones making you shorter. Start taking vitamin d , calcium and k2. You won't get your height back but you can stop yourself losing more.
