I think the openness and prevalence around the use of cosmetic surgery in Hollywood creates an extremely strong presumption that they are on drugs to help them look better too.

Actors doing recreational drugs is one thing, I think Hollywood actively chooses people who are prone to addiction because it makes them easier to control.

But that's an entirely different thing to studios actually giving their assets illegal drugs. Are the agents, actors, studios, trainers, guilds and lawyers all in on it? Doubtful.

                The trainers are studio appointed.

They actually don't, and this is the thing so many normies get stuck on because they believe other dipshit DYELs on this subreddit.

The average Hollywood transformation is from skinnyfat to ripped. You absolutely should not be in a caloric surplus if this is you, and statistically, it probably is because this is where most of the Western population sits at. We are not starving, we do not need to weigh more to look jacked, it's just a case of having enough protein, sufficient stimulus, and sufficient rest.

                >Do you have a single fact to back that up?
I do, but let me know what level to pitch it at.

You mentioned thermodynamics, so I assume you're familiar with the first law.

                You need:
                >growth stimulus
                >amino acids
                >

                [...]

                >rest

That's it. Do you understand what reverse cholesterol transport and gluconeogenesis are? Do you understand what the functions of fat are? You'd only need to be in a caloric surplus if you were underweight. Most people are not.

That last guy was a different anon. I'm the one that mentioned thermodynamics. Pic related is my body. I do need more calories to pack on muscle mass. Maybe it's different for the big actors, I don't really follow the "TMZ caught Justin Bieber on vacation in the Bahamas!" pictures so maybe you're right to an extent. I will say that muscle is much more dense than fat, though, so the people in question would need to start out like Chris Pratt in Parks & Rec to get to Brad Pitt in Fight Club. A lot of these transformations DO involve a large energy surplus.

Anyway, actors are juicing like crazy, and you can tell by the speed at which they put on muscle.

                Anonymous

I don't know what your goals are but you are carrying a lot more fat than you realize.

Let us say you weigh 180. You want to look jacked, bigger than Pitt. You can absolutely do that at 170 without being in a surplus EASILY.

                >I will say that muscle is much more dense than fat
You mentioned thermodynamics - why don't you consider how much energy is stored in the bonds of a triacylglycerol molecule vs how much is needed to bond a sequence of amino acids? That's exactly why fat is the medium your body stores energy in. I'm not saying you can increase your body mass without exogenous input; I'm also not disputing that you need protein, you need a lot more than most people are comfortable eating. You just don't need to be in a surplus to do the standard Hollywood transformation.

Are you just trying to be wrong for its own sake? Is that what makes your bottom nice and warm and moist and sharts to dribble out?

Obviously not "every single action movie actor" does roids, lots of guys in action movies are not meant to be fat or weak or old, etc. So that's the dumbest problem 1st with your statement.

Take a look at Clint Walker, that was before steroids and he was an actual non heightfrauding 6' 6 so he wasn't perspectivefrauding like manlets like Stallone and Brad Pitt.

I was going to put his picture up but I have to go with this one. Also eat a dick you fat frick.

I'm not saying that Hugh Jackman and The Rock haven't taken steroids for their movie roles, I am saying it's different for every actor and every action movie. And fwiw when they do roid, it doesn't mean they are going hard on tren, they could get a valid prescription for T sometimes.

I think he wanted the word allusion. It's a much better fit than implication in this sense. Plus it doesn't fit in the sentence to simply say imply or >implying so you can't really refer to the shiggy diggy meme unless he were to reformat the whole construction. Btw I'm just replying to you cause I'm sitting on a shitter waiting to figure out if I need to shit. I like thinking about words. 🙂

Notoriously vain people who make their living (millions of dollars) looking good. Of course they are on shit kek it blows my mind people don't think they arent all on some sort of pharmaceutical aid. Pretty much anyone who has a high paying profession career which depends on physical performance or looking good is on some shit and have extremely sophisticated sources for getting it- probably medical doctors.

For the anon who wanted spoon-feeding - we can extract 9kcal/gram from fatty acids. The activation energy required to produce a peptide bond is estimated at ~18kcal/mole. If we take the lowest molar weight amino acid - glycine - and create a monoamino peptide chain, we've spent 2 grams of fat to link 150.2 grams of amino acids.

Granted, there will be energy wastage via the reaction/reaction-coupling chain to get from fatty acid > acetyl coa > glucose > atp > peptide bond + ADP, but this is also the least efficient possible combination of amino acids in the human body by mass, as any conventional protein would have a molar mass of closer to 200g.
