Why do normies gaslight so much about body fat?

Why do normies gaslight so much about body fat?

Picrel is me losing 50 lbs of fat in about a year and in the top pic I had girls and guys tell me "you don't need to lose weight" or "you aren't fat though" yet now I am leaner my dating life is WAY easier and guys respect me more in general life. If I had listened to them though, I would of never started. I think this has got to be one of main reason why there are so many fat / skinnyfat people, people never, ever get objective or useful feedback from society on how to be attractive.

generally the only people who are going to acknowledge the importance of low bodyfat are the people who are low bodyfat, and if they are socially competent, they will know that saying the truth about bodyfat will make people dislike you.

Same thing happened constantly to me while losing weight, especially from family members. Glad that I ignored them and stuck to my weight loss goals.

Crabs in a bucket. I lost like 15lbs and just the face gains were enough to get constant attention from people at work about how great I was and what I was doing to master such crazy achievements.

Probably had face gains which is way more important to the average person.

For some people it's also a weird way of complimenting you, they might be thinking you want to lose weight because you look bad, not because you want to look even better.

    People hate watching others succeed.
When I started to get fit my friends told me to stop or they're not going to hang out with me anymore.
I don't have friends anymore, but at least I'm fit now.

Also, it changed my face, quite a lot imo I know have cheekbones and a jawline, which is arguably even more important than body. Another thing that society keeps men completely in the dark about.

      brutal

I think pop culture influences people's brains. There's not really any stories represented in pop culture of people losing weight, save for a few obese people going from hamplanets to having something approximating a regular human silhouette & being able to do normal people things. There's nothing out there for guys with 20% bodyfat who get ripped, except for low budget short films in health class or 60 minute stories of 'obsessive health freaks' who go too far, always painted in a negative light.
Most guys don't like to look bad in comparison but I legit wonder if for women, they don't like it because getting ripped is guys using epigenetics to make themselves frickable & women prefer for men to put less effort so they can select based on more immutable traits without the distractions

The thing is though, if you look at what women in particular do (not say) - they are always simping for guys that are very lean. From kpop stars & tiktok prettyboys to chads - the type of guys that girls simp for are all lean.

they aren't gaslighting you. you just looked "normal" to them and they thought it was weird for you to want to lose weight

They are genuinely stupid and don’t realise your arms haven’t got bigger despite them seeing more muscle on them

This guys got it. I already had a long term girlfriend when I got on gear. Finding out that basically every celebrity and pro athlete known for their physique was on shitloads of gear really pissed me off. After I was done being pissed off I decided to try it. Could not believe how different I was treated. Women in stores/public/the gym would smile and make eyes at me (had no idea how to react so it was pretty awkward, kek) and guys treated me a lot different. Like some sort of instinctive respect. And my girlfriend got way more turned on for sex. Was not even really on my radar because all I ever heard was women don’t care about muscles and bodybuilders have dysmorphia and are coping all that crap.

Good, it means you have a lot of potential upside from cutting.

You think that’s great, just wait until you fraud.

Choosing not to roid, for various reasons but one being I think is that the "ideal body" for women is within the natty limit. Like TikTok prettyboys, they get simped on a lot and are just tall & lean with a v taper.

Nice. I'm curious as to what your before & after transformation was, by the sounds of it you kept a tight ship and didn't bloatmaxx like a lot of roiders.

I was 6’3 240 before. Worked out really hard but was in denial about my bodyfat percentage. After was 220 with lifts that were incomparably better than pre gear.

Women aren’t trying to fricking trick you guys, you have body dysmorphia and look fine in both pictures. People think you look good how you are and you homosexuals take it to mean they’re trying to hold you back

I went from 85 kg to 110 kg bodyweight, although I was still lifting a lot you obviously saw I got fat, I had a double chin and a gut, no one called me a fat frick in my face but I went from women approaching me out of nowhere to being entirely invisible.
Yet if I asked people they said "You are not that fat", which is obviously bullshit since I didn't even saw my dick while pissing anymore

The amount of (deserved) disrespect I got from getting fat was unbelievable. People would walk all over me, and get mad if I stood up for myself.
Now I've lost most of the weight and it was literally day and night how nice they suddenly are again. It was a very hard black pill to swallow, and I have to work just as hard to not be a bitter c**t towards people now.

They don't know any better. Today skinny means not overweight so by current standards you were 'skinny enough' in the before pic in their minds. There probably wasn't any malice behind their comments anyway. Agreeing when someone calls themself fat is rude outside of IST

how to cut enough for face gains without losing muscle?
    >inb4 you can't

Just make sure you work out while cutting. You don't even have to lift hard as long as you lift. Your body isn't moronic and will prioritize preserving muscle mass over fat.
