    Lol. High carb does not work for sedentary environments. Ancients, say Germanic barbarians, to Celts, Anglo Saxons would eat moderate carbs from vegetables, and a lot of pork meat. Bread was much more labor intensive. Same as the Roman soldiers, marches, carrying heavy loads. Those that sat around carb eating, were gladiators, and became fat.

    Middle ages with higher carb and bread intake, was in turn met with hard physical labour yet again.

    Those on the frontier of the wild west, their bread and bean carbs, were also equally met with high intake of meats, and once again, many hours of physical labor.

    There is nothing wrong with carbs before a workout, but for the average person, masses of carbs, with fructose thrown in, and little energy expenditure results in poor health, insulin resistance, and weight gain.

    The average Westerner should definitely be low carb. And also the fats are often removed, and carbs put in their place, leading to loss of many essential vitamins, and fat soluble ones, such as vitamin k-2 which has led to a massive rise in heart issues, and arterial clogging, such as calcification.

    I don’t understand why try to alter your diet to an extreme like this. Maybe people find it works better for them but I would wager that its not so much the diet but the fact they started working out and trying to eat healthy. I have coworkers like this.
    I just started cutting by like 300-400 calories 3 months ago and working out hard. Been off this month this month due to a back injury in my gym. Still maintained my gains and only up 4 lbs. But by eating more protein and healthier carbs/fats I have made more progress at an accelerated rate than they did over 1/2 years.

    202 now, going back down to 180 range before im going to stop cutting.

    I've been 0 carb or carnivore for about 45 days now and I haven't felt this relieved in a long time.
    Prior to this, I would have to pop 800-1600 mg of ibuprofen a day. I haven't touched it in 30 days so far.
    Heart rate and blood pressure has significantly gone down for me as well.
    I don't plan on doing this long term and plan to reintroduce natural complex carbs slowly back into my diet after I get to around 15 - 20% bodyfat.

    all people who are fat on those diets are lying and are still eating candy/taters/rice/bread and so on, don't believe a fat frick who says he's on keto, he only has high animal fat diet with his everyday shit diet, it's impossible to gain weight on keto/carnivore if you don't add extra while exercising on a daily basis

    ketoschizos are moronic but the keto movement is unironically based. I see a bunch of "keto" food in my store now that's way lower calorie and has a bunch of protein, not all of it ofc but it's made cutting a lot easier to sub out some carby shit with keto replacements
