Why do you work out?

I do it because after a good work out, just for a little while, i feel like everything's going to be okay.

You will unironically lose a ton of gains in bootcamp, even marine bootcamp. If you're in the top 75% of your age group fitness wise go ahead and either try to go recon or take the SEAL-pill and talk to a navy recruiter. being regular infantry these days are for brown people with <80 IQ and >25 BMI. I was just a mechanic, so I know all about how the "regular" military sucks. you will get nothing out of it besides depression. i suggest going big or not joining at all

Never do any kind of direct entry SOF pipeline unless you've been coached your whole life by special forces friends and relatives and know exactly what you're in for
                >anon fails bud/s
                >gets sent to the fleet to paint the ship for 3 years
                >commits suicide
                or
                >anon enlists as 18X
                >fails SFAS
                >gets sent to the 82nd and breaks both his legs on a jump
                >dies from a pulmonary embolism from deep vein thrombosis
                or
                >anon signs an 11X opt 40 contract
                >fails RASP

Enlisting as an 0311 is unironically the smartest choice because he's getting the best marksmanship training out of any of the services, the hardest bootcamp, the highest esprit de corps of all the branches, and he gets to taste being a grunt for 4 years where he's going to have the navigation and cardio background and some more maturity.

                t. guy in my highschool football team dropped out of bud/s and killed himself
                t. guy in the year below me in high school failed SFAS and died from a PE after breaking his legs jumping with the 82nd
                t. knew multiple guys who failed RASP

Yeah, my training at this point consists of deadlift, the. Pushups/sit-ups/pull-ups & fricking cardio. I'm already losing gains.

Wrong nation. I'm paranoid of security checks finding my posts here, plausible deniability if I'm unspecific.

And yeah, marines are the best of the best here, was debating going for officer, but I'm an autist, so that wouldn't workout well. I'm off to training very very soon, I'm well into the process already.

              Yo dawg. Marine here

Please join the army. Everything you've been told about being a marine is actually more like the green berets. Just run and ruck and lift and do that. I'm looking into EOD most likely with the navy because the marine corps is objectively the shittiest branch. If you can swim then go air force special warfare. I'll answer questions you have but please man

I didn't like being a literal twig. . I used to hate doing anything related to breaking a sweat so when I started I weighed 59kg at 1.81m. I'm still dyel, but now I also work out because I like it, which got me into some other athletic stuff.
So I work out because I like it and also to mog everyone in my social circle.

    1) To improve my health. I went hiking with some club buddies back when I was really out of shape and I was fricking dying on a 3 mile trail with only 700ft of elevation gain, even the boomers on AllTrails rated it "easy". This shit still keeps me up at night.
    2) To improve my self confidence and self esteem
    3) Increase and improve my social standing
    4) Receive more female attention

    >healthier in your older age so you can still throw women around the bedroom and then go play with the kids/cuck’s kids and not be out of breath
    >naturally would pick up how to make delicious meals at some point - works great as a date trust me on that
    >lifting as a hobby/lifestyle is just so much more “productive”, and you will espeicially notice this if you’re a gamer for example - why level up a digital character when you can be leveling yourself up? as cringy as that sounds

I work out to feel better, have more energy and look better.

I used to be pretty fat, now I've lost about 50lbs and shooting for about 15 more. I noticed I have way more energy after being able to run about 5k with a much lower heart rate as well.

oh man and the sweat. i noticed when i simply lost weight and not even working on cardio (fasting gay here) i just sweat less doing simple tasks cos i’m lugging less fat around. i’ve lost roughly 20kg in total. 20kg that’s like what 45lb? now ofc a lot of that must have been water and muscle loss but still. i’ve much less fat on me and i feel so much better already.

There is only one reason to workout/increase muscle mass and that is to have a higher chance of protecting your family, wife, children, in case shit ever goes south. Attaining a greater physique for cosmetic purposes is masturbation, likely based off your own insecurities. Attaining a greater physique to have a better chance at casual sex with random sloots is a waste of your time, effort and money. Attaining a greater physique to go into some realm of modelling or appearance based work.. As a man.. Is pathetic and gay.

You can either be a strong father figure in a large extended family in some rural setting or you can be chaste to the specific end of gaining a deeper connection to Christianity. It seems like everything else in the world contributes to mental illness and suffering. Being Sikh is probably fine
