      June: strawberry
      July: strawberry and redcurrant
      August: summer apples and cherries
      September: apples, cherries, plums
      October: Apples and plums
      Nov-jan: I just put winter apples in a paper bag in my basement, it usually last fine until late January

      i have fruit 7 months per year, and I make zero preservation effort. Making preserves I would have fruit all year easily. Against, this is with minimal effort and gardening skill.

      there is nothing wrong with getting 80% of your calories from carbs including sugars but only if you burn off 80-90% of it through exercise (as endurance athletes do. no, starting strength doesn't count)
      there's everything wrong with it when you're sedentary (as most people in developed countries are) because you're setting yourself up for obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, etc

    There is no human requirement for dietary sugar or carbohydrate. Your body prefers to burn fat. It burns glucose primarily when you eat a lot of carbs because high blood sugar is toxic.
