By using the dexterity only acquirable in calisthenics, he escaped the toxic echo chamber of 'masculine' bodybuilding gay orgy. He came in an insecure asian boy and came out an obnoxious dyel chink with a mediocre virgin autistic wife. A fate only the elite class throughout history dare to dream of.

Because we're so used to seeing roided up physiques we don't even know what actual functional strength looks like.
    >But he can't bench a lot
    >But he can't deadlift a lot
    >But he can't-
Don't care. Fitness is a personal journey and if his was to do typewriter pull ups hes got most of IST beat based of happiness alone. Dyel isn't a physical condition. Its a mindset that often traps people who lift more than those who don't.

        >If you cant lift a big heavy rock you dont have le functional strength
FTFY. Deadlifting (especially when doing PL) is functionally useless and has no real life applications even when trying to pick heavy objects up outside the gym.

Deadlifts are pretty functional for everyday lifting but I think atlas stones are the most functional

Yep. Your entire posterior chain and your forearm muscles just disappear when you don't have a 28mm piece of steel in your hands.

He probably doesn't actually workout much and just does the tricks for the camera because he's 110lbs, so they're easy. Also, my brief glances at his content confirm my theory because he'd rather do planches off weird shit than actually working out. He has the whole "mediocre loser" audience locked down so there is no reason for him to actually make gains.

      >functional strength

because he doesn't train for conventional hypertrophy
his skills are impressive, but he doesn't have a physique even remotely similar to a bodybuilder, he looks slightly athletic, like a BJJ guy instead

do calisthenics at a 24+ bmi, you'll gain lots of muscle

gain weight and bulk. all the Black folk doing calisthenics as their main thing are afraid to bulk because of
      >muh high reps
if you gain weight, you'll develop muscle and also load the movement more

He doesn't look bad. He could gain some definition or a tan, but he doesn't look like a try hard gym-goer. This is probably the best physique for attracting women.

you CAN get big with calisthenics, at the cost of lower reps

I did calisthenics at a way lower level than him for several months yet I've actually developed muscle. I think he just never prioritized hypertrophy, high protein diet, caloric surplus, etc.

He relied only on bodyweights, whereas for hypertrophy you want 6-12 reps, which can be obtained with calisthenics if you actually use weights (vest, backpack, ankle weights, belt).
Like swimming, calisthenics will only get you this far in terms of muscle gains.

i dunno i only saw a couple of his videos, and one of them was about some life advice shit. it was objectively wrong and facebook mom tier. people to speak so confidently about shit they have no idea about need to be exterminated - and i understand this means nearly every teenager on the internet. it is a sacrifice i am willing to make.
