Why don't bodybuilders eat pork?

I've looked at the diets of over a dozen body builders online(I know they're not 100% accurate) and not even one of them included any kind of pork.
I'm interested because I've read that lean pork is good for building muscle mass. Can someone plz explain this.

    Pork is the least humane meat you can buy. There is no humane way to raise pork so people don’t eat it. It’s dosgusting. Half the world won’t go near it

    My best guess is it's cause chicken is very lean and high in protein, while pork can have lesser fat it's usually only used in fatty meats like sausage or bacon. Although thinking of it ham seems to have a good amount of fat so maybe it's just cause fat pigs are fat pigs

    people hear pork and think bacon, sausage and other fatty stuff. also if you just grill pork plain like a lot of bodybuilders cook meat, itll taste worse than chicken. i incorporate plenty of pork i to my diet, usually either porkchops rubbed with salt, pepper, garlic and curry with mustard on top, or chunks of pork in chili/ratatouille.

    It used to be more popular back in the day. Its as if people have forgotten about it. There is no reason they are not eating it other then its just not "in" and nobody talks about it.

    Pork has 22g of protein and 2g of fat per 100g and 106cals so its up there in terms of lean proteins. Its also cheap.

    Less protein more fat than other meats. Pork is based though. It scares the garden gnome and mudslime. Just buy quality cuts from a butcher. Chops, loins, high quality sausages, etc. Mass produced factory pork from a supermarket is true and true goyslop.

            chicken has the worst omega ratios

            Chicken and pork are equally bad for omega 6. Both are monogastrics like humans. Both of them are fed cheap high grain diets high in omega 6 which is incorporated into their body fat.
            Pigs are NOT ruminants.

                Theoretically you could supplement a shitload of omega 3 to get to a good 4:1 ratio, but it's a lot easier to just NOT CONSOOM so much food high in omega 6.
                No seed oils and minimal pork/chicken. If you do eat pork/chicken eat the leanest/skinless cuts available.

                I don't worry so much as the ratio as keeping total Omega-6 intake low. I forget the study, but it was shown (in rats lol) that very low PUFA intake (all of them) is better at increasing tissue concentrations of Omega-3 than trying to offset higher Omega-6 with even higher Omega-3. I have a hard cap of 8g Omega-6; and I usually get half that, so 1-2% of total calories on an average day, which I think is in line with the best available research on health effects and ancestral diets. Furthermore, it's easy to adhere to without being super autistic and only buying grass fed meat, and this is including lean pork. I do eat some kind of fatty fish once a week, so sort of a bolus approach to that.

                I probably average about 175g protein, which is a little more than my lean mass. I haven't tracked macros or budgeted in a while tbh; but I shop at the discount grocer, I load up on beef chuck roast on sale, pork is cheap, the full fat Greek yogurt I buy is like $3.25 for 2 lbs; and potatoes are almost free where I live, so that's my main carb source. It's not expensive, and I'm naturally thrifty from growing up poor so I tend to live below my means now; but I should pin down a number on it, I'll do that this week. I do miss eggs though, that's worth sourcing locally. 6 standard large eggs is ~4g of Omega-6, I used to crush eggs as a protein staple, can't do that anymore.

                Just eat skinless chicken breast baked in olive oil or butter.

    I always eat pork over chicken. The micronutrients are so much better in por and it's not even close, chicken might as well be a protein supplement in comparison; and it's safer, no need to cook the shit out of it. I am PUFA pilled though, so I do lean pork only. Pastured pork is good though, I should look into finding a local hog farmer.

    Because it's not very nice if you cook it without any special touches. Maybe bodybuilders can't cook and would rather have protein shakes, idk. It's also pretty bad for you if you don't get it from a respectable source, supermarket-bought pork comes from pigs fed with complete trash most of the time. Real pork is great though.
