Why haven't you taken the tilapia pill yet?
>less calories per gram as chicken breast
>over half the grams of protein compared to chicken breast with 26 and 31 respectively
>arguably better micronutrients spread
So why isn't tilapia ever talked about in the realm of chicken breast, tuna, and liver? Am I missing something?
They're muddy bottomfeeders
see
the cod/halibutpill is the only pill to take, if you're too poor for anything less you shouldn't be allowed to live anyway
>cod
>halibut
Maybe halibut, but cod has shit macros and gets completely BTFO by tuna and salmon.
Halibut is a bottomfeeder too you fricking dunce. It's a flounder. You don't even go fishing lmao
so do sardines but this board spazzes out over them
Also this. Who gives a frick if the fish eats garbage, it's a dirty bulker but somehow gives hella good macros without a massive magnesium hit while also filling in the fatty fish needs without falling to the fish oil pill israelite.
Sorry meant mercury not magnesium, need to go to bed.
sardines probably don't eat the same bullshit that tilapia does though

yeah have fun with your inflammation, cancer, and estrogen lol
homie that article literally says to avoid tilapia raised in China but literally everywhere else it's a great source of protein and fats.
Source your claim
>something from China is worse compared to the same thing from other parts of the world
the source is common sense - there was an study done but I can't get the link to work, here's an excerpt
>A July 2009 report from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on the safety of food imports from China noted that in that country "Fish are often raised in ponds where they feed on waste from poultry and livestock" and cited an increased rate of FDA rejection of fish imports from China between 2000 and 2008:
>Fish and shellfish products were the industry group with the most refusals from China, followed by vegetables and fruit products. Fish/shellfish share of refusals from China doubled from about 20 percent in 2000-04 to nearly 40 percent in 2007-08. Food and Water Watch also drew attention to the high incidence of safety problems with fish and shellfish imports from China.
>Eels (frozen and/or roasted), catfish fillets, and shrimp accounted for most of the refused fish/shellfish shipments, but a wide variety of other products were also refused, including tilapia, tuna, monkfish, squid, jellyfish, crawfish, crab, cod, mackerel, and other fish species. The large number of fish and shellfish refusals may reflect increased monitoring of these products that began in 2006 due to chronic problems.
meant for
>2000-2008
Jesus Christ read
dumb homosexual
The argument wasn't that tilapia is bad, it's that tilapia from china is bad. Learn to read context you illiterate moron
tilapia (the fish) eats garbage and shit
toxic fish that is bad for you
And Black folk love them so no go for me (white)
For me it's mackerel! Yep!
>TILAPIA POISONOUS
Jesus christ the state of fricking IST this was maybe true 15 years ago
If you live in a first world country (so this doesn't apply to Americans) tilapia is clean as frick because of strict regulations
Freshwater fish taste nasty.
You can raise your own tilapia in a carboy and filter the water through a hydroponic system for veggies. No reason they have to be from disgusting sludge farms eating roundup ready corn. Just like homegrown eggs.
