If that's the case then high rep weight lifting should also work. Keeping your reps in the 15-20 rep range could make this work really well

If you're able to complete a superset close / to failure directly after going close / to failure you didn't actually go close / to failure
But by all means, continue doing that if your goal is muscular atrophy and looking like a boiled ice cream
Not OP and obviously supersetting everything is fucking retarded but I like to superset bench press with some lightweight lat pulldown just because I find I bench better with a pump in my biceps and lats. I find I can stabilize more effectively with blood flowing in those areas
I do it with a supinated grip
I do my 2 compounds normally, then do the rest of my workout in supersets.
I don't want to hog all the equipment.
Though when I go back to uni, the uni gym might be empty when I'm there, so this could workout for me.
