Why so much hate for cardiochads here

They say we are no different than people who don’t exercise. Just look at pic related that came from here. Also the pic is outright false. I do 300 calories in 30 min with cardio

Dunno but cardio is based and low intensity steady state work is massively under rated. Gotta do the LISS, the HIIT, and lift weights and do yoga and shit to perform your best.

So true, yoga especially is very underrated for weight lifters for getting more mobility and more longevity in your career over all

      Redpill me on yoga
I'm prone to overuse injuries (thank you long runs and daily heavy KB swings) and I want something IST to do on non-lifting days.

if IST are in the woods and a bear starts chasing them the powerhomos will say some shit like "lightweight baby" and start fighting the bear only to be instantly killed. while calisthenics and cardio chads will be doing back flips up the trees escaping from the bear to safety. humans were made to run. we are the most perfect running machines on the planet. so we need to utilize our ability to the full extent

A grizzly bear can have top speeds of up to 35 miles per hour quite comfortably. This speed means that it is possible for a bear to outrun a car that is moving on a rural road. The fastest human being alive, Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, can get to top speeds of a little over 27 miles per hour.

You don't need to run faster than the bear... only faster than the other man.

Show me a treadmill tard who learned how to back flip

I showed you a powerhomosexual who learned backflips from JERKING OFF his barbell (from the ground)

Bears run faster than humans and they can climb trees moron. If a bear attacks you and you don't have a weapon you're fricking dead you idiot. At least the weight lifting chad would have more of a chance against the bear in physical combat. Assuming both of you had a knife the weight lifter would have a far greater chance of surviving

Powershitters are the trannies of fitness
They are extremely vocally anti-cardio because they are really trying to convince themselves that being out of shape is ok if you can lift big numbers

Cortisol in order to slim your muscle down in order to move long distances more efficiently isn't INHERENTLY bad it's just not what most guys on here are going for. I'd rather be stronger even if it means that it will take a few hours longer to get 10 miles on foot

If you do zero cardio then your weak ass heart is holding you back on your lifts. Doesn’t matter how big your muscles are if you can’t get oxygen to them efficiently.

Unless you are a pro athlete there is no reason you can't lift once a week and do cardio too. that's probably optimal for health going into old age.

For the jogging, a max of 5k, maybe pushed to 10k on some days. But mainly focused on improving 5k times. Sprints shouldn't take long but should ideally incorporate some hill sprints
