it's not any harder than losing any other fat. you just have to reach the bottom of the barrel and you havent come up to terms with the fact that you will end up weighing the same as you did in middle school when you reach that leanness to have visible abs.

It certainly is. The more weight i lost, the slower the progress becomes. My face and arms and legs lost fat really quickly and obviously. But my belly? Nope. I am down to 20% BF (from 135 kg to 90 kg) and i just don't lose fat anymore. I think i need to do some drastic changes.

        hahahahahahahahaha
You got a LONG way to go before you see any abs.

Of course. I am currently fasting 18/6 and super hungry most of the time which tells me i am on a deficit.

Do i risk losing muscle mass if i cut too much?

            Anonymous

You’ll only really lose muscle if you completely stop working out. Keep up your training, eat your protein, and count those calories so you know you’re on a deficit

Thing is: my workout is seriously lacking when i cut. Hungry = no strength to lift heavy. Anyway, i will live on Joghurt, eggs and protein shakes the next month while still fasting 18 hours and see how that turns out.

Arrange your daily calorie intake so that you can eat some carbs about 1 hour before your lifts. Also drink about 100mg-150mg of caffein just before going to the gym, it gives a huge energy boost.

belly fat is one of the few fat deposits men have. if you have a healthy amount of body fat odds are youll have belly fat

i had the same problem when i started lifting and tried everything under the sun

i ended up finding out thru trail n error that u need to get your BMR (basal metabolic rate) up.

i was eating 1600cal/day and was barely losing any weight. then i bulked up, put on a lot of muscle (albeit w some bodyfat aswell) for 6 months and then a big cut from december to june and it paid off so well

It sounds counter-intuitive but makes sense. As you are losing weight, your metabolism is slowing down because your bodyhas to function on a deficit.

Weight distribution is dictated, among other things, by testosterone and estrogen. This is why men tend to store fat in the belly, and women tend to store fat in the thighs. Your belly is the first place your body wants to store fat at, and the last place it wants to draw fat from. This means you have to lose the excess fat from every single other source (including places like your face, your dick or your feet) before your body caves in and starts using the fat deposits in your abdomen, which it considers as a last resort.

Have you tried a caloric deficit? And when I say caloric deficit, I don't mean not eating one day and hitting the goyslop the remaining 6 days of the week.

Get a smart scale so you can see if you are actually making progress, if you plateau then eat less calories even if you think that you are already way below your TDEE. Don't freak out at the loss of muscle it will inevitably happen on a cut and you will gain it back VERY quickly when you start bulking again.

Still doesn't tell me anything. It's not even useful to determine any type of change in your body. As it's one data point and not two. We're not magicians. We can't tell you what we dont know

the ONLY way of losing excess fat is to go on a bulk, get decent numbers, build muscle mass and THEN start cutting
you cant cut shit if you dont have shit
    people need to understand this
