one pound of any meat is fricking amazing for that. When I ran out of protein powder I figured that out. Plus in the longrun I think just buying a lb of meat is cheaper

        Anonymous

Yeah it is, you're also paying for convenience with the whey. Dymatize whey is 65 bucks for 63 servings, so basically a dollar per serving. Each serving has 25 g protein, so every 4 dollars gets your 100g of protein. Chicken is 2-3 dollars per pound, each pound has 120 grams of protein. The whey comes in at 1 dollar/25 grams, or 4 cents per g, whereas chicken is 3 dollars/120 grams, or 2.5 cents per gram of protein.

        Anonymous

        yeah like I said here

finally founnd a 50% off code for myprot and whey is now at 2020 prices BUT code didnt apply to creatine
        creatine supply is fricked

it seems like myprot just removed promo codes for creatine altogether
        idk if it's temporary
they basically used to give creatine away before, it x5'd since
their entire business model is scammy and built around these promo codes, you should never order unless they have like 40% off since these are their real baseline prices

the other thing is their prices scale with product package weight so the bigger the package, the cheaper it gets BUT because of supply shortage or purposefully, they started removing the bigger packages, so you have to order multiple smaller portions at a markup for the same weight as before

whey supply must be improving currently or they're realizing they're bleeding customers, they re-added 5kg bags when they were out of stock a week ago, same with some other items, so prices are more acceptable this week vs a week ago when I checked, except for creatine

bigger bags of oats are also still out of stock although I doubt oats supply is fricked and has nothing to do with china, so I think they do this purposefully to skim a few more shekels, but they must also be feeling customer pressure because everyone is complaining now and their reputation is taking a severe hit

      Anonymous

umm yeah I think it's the Easter deal where they pre-applied a % off without a code and then a 49% code on top of it

          Anonymous

Sick, but good for you, 60 for 5kg is an insane deal in todays enviroment. I dont like myprotein, it tastes worse than bulk imo, but I'd stock up at that price.

      >5kg whey for 60€

      >Why do people still buy ON? Out of habit?
Mostly. Gold standard, found a few flavors I like, cheaper than some alternatives. Last thing I want to do is buy a slightly cheaper whey protein and find out I absolutely hate the flavor and have to live with it for months. Trying to find a slightly cheaper alternative is like splitting hairs, pretty sure there are a million and one ways to save money more efficiently.
I've had Impact Whey and it was pretty good, still like ON better.
