I'm gonna try again, I recently relapsed and I'm gonna use it to taper off. It fricks up my appetite and as a result I have no energy to work out. It does help with my college work though.

I quit the same stuff, that's why i know it's a trap. I am in college too, software engineering, but it's doable and i feel way fricking better off of it. More energy, less moodswings, better boners and performance in the gym. More consistency in everything from studying to diet.

Start with 4 a day, then 3, 2, etc. take your time but try to accomplish one less zyn a day per week. You'll be off it in no time and feeling great. Nicotine and alcohol are traps for the weak and ignorant.

opinions on general snus? is it worse than zyn in terms of addiction/bad affects, or basically the same thing?

Still has tobacco, which is what causes cancers and the bad stuff not associated with nicotine. Albeit way lower than other forms, it still is cancer causing. And iirc really, really strong nicotine levels

You can probably get weaker portions of snus or if it's the loose kind just use less.
              Agreed on the cancer though.

I tried it a long time ago, the classic one, and it was pretty good. The flavour is really strong at first but it gets better The box lasted me a couple of years. As long as you dont snus everyday, you should be good

            > better boners
Nicotine literally calcifies your veins leading to increased blood pressure, worse blood flow, worse cardio, worse boners and colder extremeties.

Nta I’m in the same position as OP addicted to vaping.
I’ve tried Zyn, I enjoy them (Curtis is the best), but idk what it is. I find myself relapsing on the vapes. I got spicy tooth picks for the oral fixation too. When you say start with 4, is that just to initially keep the withdrawals at bay?
Because I literally chain vape all day long. If I go more than 3 hours withdrawals start, and only after like 1 hour I start getting that restless panicky feeling. I want to be free of this shit.
Started to study for an exam (it helped), passed the exam then a year later decided I didn’t wanna work in that field and now all I have from it is an addiction that fricks my already shit cardio causes anxiety raises blood pressure and fricks with my sinuses and airways.

I use these sometimes and don't have any gum issues.
If you're addicted to something you should just stop on principle though.
I use them until I run out then take a few months off so idk if I'd get the same issues as chronic users

Why try? Just stop buying nicotine if you're addicted to it.

"taper off" is not going to work
it just means your next relapse is going to be with a little 2mg pack "just to get you through this stressful time" and then another month of dependence

you have got to start saying NO every damn time
get yourself beyond the fricking anger and guilt at how many damn times you're going to have to tell yourself NO at every turn, every time you hop in the car, every time you pass by the gas station convenience store, every time you drink, every time something annoys you that's beyond your control
        nicotine addiction is fricking infuriating

      are you joking?
Lungs filter out 90% of nicotine, that's their entire purpose is to deliver oxygen and filter out everything else.
The most effective delivery method is via the gums or tongue. Since it's a direct line to blood supply.

true but smoking is also the most physically addicting for some reason. i don't know why. gum is the least addicting. something to do with nicotine policrilax vs nic salt and freebase.

it's because when you're smoking you're actively stimulating yourself with various biomechanical processes.
even the burning feeling is similar to the same chemical dependency that emo chicks cutting themselves feel.
You're programming yourself to be addicted to the entire experience of smoking.

Between oral and smoke in a non-nicotine addict. Oral nicotine intake will always be > smoke inhalation. That's why most people that take their first pinch of tobacco end up getting physically sick.
I've never met anyone that smoked just a cigarette though and ever became ill.

High association with oral cancers, meanwhile nicotine has some vague barely noticeable thickening of the heart walls in mice that are fed extreme doses.
The nicotine is the good part. All the other stuff in tobacco is neutral or bad.

If you run a lot youll cough it out once you can run like 5 miles kinda fast no breaks with a decent hill in the mix.

Switch to weed and tobacco in a handheld herb vape if you dont let smoke leak out it isnt even expensive either its less than cigarettes per week to smoke like 3 or 4 mixed bowls a day.

The real problem is carbon monoxide made by smoke/coils. Youll notice it takes a good 20-30 seconds to hit you and never go back realizing your "high" is lightheadedness.

    >6mg
I like american spirits(~10mg) and cheap pouches((~14mg) as im too poor to smoke weed atm. If i were id be using an MFLB vape for tobacco and weed all day every day.

Zyns seem to probably have less cancer tbh because most tobacco has pesticides. Either way I used to run like 3x a week smoking a shitload of blunts and i had zero lung problems.

If you hold the snus for like 6h+ and you forget to brush your teeth, yes, your gums will get inflamed. Nothing really permanent
If you get addicted and use it every day for years, which is only typical in sweden, yes, your teeth might fall off.
If you use it like once a week and you stop snusing when you gums get some noticeable inflamation, you are good

Regular snus will frick up your gums eventually yes. Dentists notice and you can feel the gumline being differently textured, like scarred. It recedes your gumline. Optimally would be to snus on one side for a month then switch side to give the gumline time to heal. With that said I dont know if tobacco-free zyn snus is different, I'd assume not.
