it won't make things worse but if you don't know how to fight you don't know how to fight and that means you can get your ass destroyed by someone who does. being bigger will intimidate other people (usually people who dont' know how to fight) though

if you know how to apply your strength to get the combatant on the ground quickly, headlock them or knock them out yes. some degree of fitness will amp up your reflexes as well. It can also be actively trained just like your videos.

if you have heavy things around to use in the fight, of course

if you're a fighter maybe, some strength training is used by almost all fighters but being big and strong isn't a priority of hardly any of them. If you're not a fighter you shouldn't be fighting if you value your life and not being in jail for manslaughter. If you're worried about self-defense get a gun.

Yes, but the more technically skilled you are, the more lifting will help. For grappling, especially, strength is a huge asset.
Cardio and flexibility also go a long way, so on the physical side you want general athleticism, not just strength.
You have better chances in a fight if you lift rather than doing nothing, but you'll have better chances yet if you practice a combat sport. If you're really serious about it you should practice a combat sport and suppliment it with streching, cardio and lifting.

Yes, pick them up and slam them on concrete, you win.
If you don’t believe me go take a stroll on a fight thread on /gif/ and see it for yourself.
Having said so being fit doesn’t automatically win you the fight.

Considering the average person is a fat moron, having a base level of strength and fitness will put you well ahead of them. You won't be able to walk into an actual combat sports gym and beat the breaks off everyone because you have a 2pl8 bench though.

it depends, fighting a random person in a high trust environment? yes you should be able to overwhelm your average untrained, unexperienced, coddled combatant who has never went through any physical conditioning whatsoever, but then again, you could also end up going against someone who's been training MMA for a decade, ripped but looks like an old, regular average guy in a jacket, and is now planning to destroy your patella and potentially leave you disabled for life, but hey the second isnt as close to as likely as the first.you also said fist fight so I'm not including the possible involvement of weapons.

very little. the most significant impact is probably resilience. theres a reason fighters especially emphasize core exercises

If you're only allowed to strike, maybe? If it's a street fight with no rules and you're bigger & stronger than the other person you can pretty much just grab and slam them and there's nothing really they can do to stop you

3 things impact a fight the most, in order.
    >Size Height and weight
    >Training
    >Strength

I'm personally a well trained copelet (5'9"), I got very fit when I was fighting Judo and Taekwondo and being strong gave me the edge over more skilled fighters of my size and made me competitive against larger opponents I would have otherwise stood no chance against without weight training.

      I'd say it's
      >size
      >strength
      >training
I have always had size and strength on my size but never could train well, too stiff and robotic us what all my coaches called me
however I never lost a street fight because if you're big and strong you can eat a couple of punches and just put then in the ground with you weight then you just wail on them
you don't even have to be good at punching people will go and lift you off them and they won't come for seconds because they know fatty is just going to sit on them again
I've had a couple of guys try to get me in a lock or something on the ground but I'm too big, there's a reason all martial arts have weight class

Fighting is the application of strength and power via technique and skill to the purpose of physical domination under the given context
So yes having more strength to apply will help, but only if you're able to apply it, which is the "learning to fight" part

    >we all went our separate ways after college, getting new jobs and moving away so I hadn’t seen some of them in awhile

    >tries antagonizing me saying she could kick my ass out of nowhere
    >she says that strength is irrelevant in a fight
    >tell her that statement was moronic but I wouldn’t hit a woman
    >pisses off the libtard
    >antagonizes me more
    >tell her she can say whatever she wants but I would only hit a woman if she attacked me or my wife
    >tell her that any man here would whip her ass myself included but it doesn’t matter anyways
    >she tells me she’s been doing kickboxing for 9 months
    >lol
    >tell her that if I got ahold of her I would end her in <10 seconds but it’s irrelevant because I’m trying to have a good time with my friends
    >some other numale libtard friend start saying that it’s possible that she could win
    >tell them that if we ran 100 simulations that she may win one if I tore my acl while grabbing her
    >friend comes in after overhearing the conversation
    >”are you serious, femanon? You really think you could take anon? If you think that you’re fricking stupid”

The amount of cope this woman had was insane. I was trying to drink and hangout with my friends. Why are Libtard women this delusional? I hadn’t seen her in only a year but she moved away and changed her look from a sweet and caring looking woman to a turbodyke looking woman who tries hard to be an butthole+antagonize+intimidate others. I wasn’t impressed.

This is why it's a good thing if mtf trannies can compete in female sports. Some people (many people) are too unintelligent to ever be reasoned with and can only ever learn from experience

        Anonymous

This is a good point. 90% of people who support mtf competing in female sports are women. So let them get what they asked for. They'll find out for themselves.

          Anonymous

The ones supporting the MTF doing female sports are usually NOT DOING THE SAID SPORT!

Imo they should make an OPEN category that doesn't restrict drug use etc either other than to the point of death or serious injury etc. As long as they are deemed safe in moderation they can be used.

lame, should've told the b***h something like
      >well you're free to put your little girly kicks to the test if you really think you're tough...
or something else to agitate her into a fight and you now having a reason to put her in her place.

Its funny she had only 9 months of training and thought that. Extreme over confidence lol. And all striking training with no grappling the second someone your size grabbed her she would be finished.

You should have challenged her to a fight to call her out on her bullsiht.
You did he "socially acceptable" thing of "being the bigger man" but you sill look like a b***h in your own story.

Next time, challenge her to fight you 2v1.
She canchose another female, anyone she likes (as long as it's not a 180 lbs kickboxing champion woman) and kick both their asses easily.

If you still want to do the "I won't hit a woman" shtick, then do it this way.
Challenge her to a sparring exercise.
Either one of these two will do :

      - 1st Challenge is "You hit me, I can't hit back".
She hasto put on gloves, for you it's optionnal.
She can hit you but you can't hit her. Meaning you're ONLY defending.
If you're fast enough and have good reflexes, you can basically dodge any hit she tries to land.

-2nd Option, a Boxing Exercise that I love doing is "Touch the shoulder".
It's like a boxing / sparring match, but without any gloves or equipment.
To score a point, you simply need to touch he other's shoulder.
So you're both dodging the others atempt at touching the shoulders.

Either of those sparring exercise would make do as Mock Combat.

You get to prove your superiority to her, and at the same time "Not hit a woman".

I myself have used the Shoulder-Touch sparring exercise at least once to prove to a female just how big of a difference there was between me and her.

This advice goes out to all you bros.
Do these above sparring exercises to prove your superority over a female wthout ever actually hitting her.

Any woman you do this Shoulder-Touch sparring exercise will learn just how much of a difference there is between a IST guy and an average female

Not really my punch speed and power sort of goes down if I bench too much better to practice on the bag if you want a better punch. You still want to lift though just don’t do it more than you actually practice punching. Karate man here

Overhead Press/Cleans are better for striking artists than bench press which is akin to pinning guy down or wrestling the guy up to/from the ground. Even Kettlebells are great for strikers like karatekas, imo perfect punch improvers.

muscle/strength will help in two scenarios:
    >you and the other guy are clueless about fighting and similar height, but you are stronger
    >the other guy knows a martial art but you are significantly taller and stronger than him
other than that, a guy that has been training a martial art for anything more than 6 months will absolutely destroy a guy of similar height or even slightly bigger that has never trained any martial art.
