How is it even worth it if wrs went from like 630 to maybe 700 with no bench suit and nobody really went for 1000lb dl and squat but still.

Partly, but you must have a seriously disfigured face, be tinytrip tiny or have the worst case of autism if lifting doesn't help you to get some girls at least

Do guys online still get more attention from males than from females?

          Anonymous

depends on the audience you cultivate, female gaze is very different from male gaze.
for eg female gaze style post would mean bodybuilder type physique in well fitted normal looking clothes, visible vascularity, long hair haircut, some display of wealth, visible body hair.
male gaze posts are the type that are super low effort - shirtless, wet skin, higher body fat, lower body focus.
basically if you - a hetero dude - imagine a photo/video with a woman instead of a man and you think it would be hot - that's what male gaze homosexual attracting posts are like.
homosexuals are just mentally ill dudes with their mental circuitry going haywire and attaching to men instead of women.

Lifting weights 2 times a day is stupid, your body won't have time to recover

If you want to train 2 times a day, do something else alongside lifting weights

Bike, hiking, boxing and so on

If you are doing other exercises apart from gym workouts (sports, fighting, cycling, swimming, running) then leg day 2x a week is too much imho.

you should keep squatting once a week minimum but I just use cycling or football etc. as a leg workout now

I have done in this a couple different ways.
    >Calisthenics or running in the morning for an hour and then going harder and heavier for 2-3 hours later in the day
    >lifting heavy in the morning and then going to muay thai at night
Recovery isn’t an too much of an issue as long as you sleep and force feed yourself because your body may need more calories than you think and it’s easy to not realize it. Bigger issue is that it takes too much time, this shit was fine in college and during covid for me, but with a full time job it’s not feasible unless it’s the weekend and I’m hitting muay thai and lifting maybe. But if you’re a neet, then have at it I guess.

Do ANY guys who attain a big physique actually gaf about women? most big dudes i know work out bc they would kill someone otherwise, or they got their heart broken, ptsd etc. Where does this normiegay idea come from. It's like the "oh you know bodybuilders are actually super weak, it's just show muscle" thing. Who invents these copes
Also 2x/days can be a lot of fun but make sure to adjust volume accordingly. and sleap moar

Calisthenicsgay asking, how much weaker is somebody who optimizes for hypertrophy compared to a powerlifter? I would think that they'd be able to do about 50-60% the max at any one lift since they don't optimize for it.

If you're talking about big bodybuilders they're all very strong

        Shaman of /fit/

Your question is so open-ended it's almost impossible to answer meaningfully.

If you're talking about big bodybuilders they're all very strong

did about the best job possible. Continuing in that vein, if you study champion bodybuilders, the common theme you'll notice is that all of them are fricking strong, and started their career as powerlifters.

For example, Ronnie Coleman: beast powerlifter. Chris Bumstead: 585 squat in highschool. Arnold Schwarzenegger: champion powerlifter. The list goes on.

There are adaptations that heavy lifting, particularly the squat, gives you which nothing else does. In the case of the squat, this is a compressive force on your spine. It doesn't matter how strong your legs are, or how strong your stabilizers are, if your spine isn't capable of supporting the weight, it's a no go.

So, the best answer I can give you is: a lot weaker. A calisthenics practitioner has no idea the power of a human that has been training the squat. To them, having another person on their back is a problem. To an elite powerlifter, it's not even a warmup.

Just lift heavy for like 3 sets then do all the other shit without wearing yourself out too much the day or 2 before.
