>6'0" 300 lbs.
>work two jobs 70+ hours a week
>have 8 hours a day when I'm not working 6 days a week (used for sleep) and 12 hours 1 day out the week (8 of which are used for sleep)
> eat fast food once or twice a day
>literally only thing i eat because I don't have a stove or fridge at home

I want to know if i replace the fast food with fruits and raw veggies would I start to lose some weight? I don't have time to work out but one of my jobs is slightly physical.

Move apartments to one with a stove, find 2-4 healthy meals that you like and can cycle through on the regular, download a calorie tracker, weight loss is just accounting.

I own my home. I'm saving up for renovations so that's why I'm working so much. I have a hot plate. but like i said literally work sleep shower commute work commute repeat

All you need to fricking do is count your calories and stop shoveling food into your face every hour

I eat once maybe twice a day

Yes you probably would but tbh I think you’re going to have a lot of trouble going from your current diet to that.
Number one, recognize you’re moronic. You work two jobs so I’m going to assume ur close to minimum wage, call it 10$ an hour. You eat fast food for two meals and weigh 300 pounds so I’m going to guess and say you probably spend around 25$ a day on fast food. You are making it so that you waste 2.5 hours of your working time In order to eat slop. Cooking both those meals would take you 1.5 hours tops and be much cheaper and healthier. Literally buy some whole wheat bread and make pb&j’s to start if that’s all you can make.

I make 21.50 and 15 an hour and spend $15-$20 daily PBJ is a great idea but the jelly has too much sugar. Forgot to mention i cut all sugar out of my diet.

so long as you're at a calory defecit you will lose weight

      it's ~8,000kcals for 1 kilo of fat

but make sure you're also getting enough (60-120g) of protein a day as well, otherwise you will start lising muscle mass as well, and that incldes your heart

you could buy an airfryer and cook with no oils there. some foods are more filling while being low on calories, such as rice cakes or oranges

You would lose weight at a tremendously fast pace, especially if you go heavy on vegetables and chug a ton of water throughout the day
However, I would still recommend you to eat meat instead of protein powder. Use a slow-cooker /crockpot. Just put some water in, toss the meat and cook it on low all night. When you wake up, grab the meat and thats it.
Like look at this, a piece of ham, mustard on top, water in the crockpot, thats it. Thats what I do because I ate cooking forever

That looks disgusting but i might take the crockpot pill. Don't wanna burn my house down though.

          depends, generally yes

Pbj guy, why are you working this many hours then? Do you live in nyc or downtown Chicago or some shit? Also you weigh 300 pound brother, you don’t need to make this many drastic changes at once. Make slow deliberate changes and it’ll work out way better. Cut out fast food first, then soda, then candy, etc. peanut butter and banana is also a healthy alternative.

I gotta pay bills on top of saving for renovations to my house. Already cut soda (i drink Pepsi zero every once in a while) candy and juice out.

homie you do not reach 300lbs eating once or twice a day lmao

I never said i did. I currently weigh like 290 i used to eat sweets and fried food every day. Just starting cutting back in march when i started my warehouse job

you will feel much more tired on a calory (and sugar) defecit
consider more caffeene (coffee, black tea, cola zero calories)

yeah i drink black coffee and these sugar free iced coffee/proteins shakes

yeah i'm thinking i can stop at an aldi and grab a fruit tray after my first job. The issue is i'll still be hungry. How much milk do you think i would need so replace a meal?

Just to clarify some things my schedule looks something like this

          05:30 wake up shower etc.
          06:00 drive to warehouse job
06:30 stop at BK and get a black coffee. some days I'll get a 2 burrito meal with ham and no eggs if I'm starving and didn't eat the night before ($2)
          07:00-11:00 work
          11:30-15:30 sleep
15:30 stop at bk and get a small whopper meal with water bottle. ($13) (this is what i would replace with a fruit tray
16:00-00:00 work ( do deliveries so this is when I'd grab a protein shake at a gas station or something)
          00:00 if i didn't eat /wont eat breakfast I'll stop a McDonald's and get two mcchicken with cheese ($5)
          01:00-05:30 sleep

That schedule... I've never seen anything so moronic in my life. I work 50-60hours per week and cook all my own food, lift 4 times a week, play in a band and spend time with my wife/family/friends and still have time to play a bit of Vidya here and there.
To start off instead of going to BK why don't you eat food at your own home. Get some instant coffee and kettle and cereal and fruit for breakfast.

I live paycheck to paycheck still. Even with both jobs I'm still barely scraping by. My finances are a different issue though.

Honestly I'm just afraid that the fruit wont be enough to keep me full during my second job and I'll regress and resort to eating fried food again. I'm only there for a month until I'm off of medical restriction my hours will drop back to 40-50 a week. Then I'll hit the gym 3-4 times a week and eat rice and salads and shit and sleep properly.

                Fatty logic.
                Just eat less lardass.

if you get the bananas green they can ripen in a few days with no fridge if not peeled
if cut they can easily fit in a plastic lunchbox too
the same can also apply to apples

if you have a means of boiling water you can do potatoes, onions, garlic and spicy peppers as well without need to refrigurtate for about a week (if not longer)

if you have a microwave you can croutons out of bread and spices, those also don't need a fridge for around a week

salted nuts in general are also easy to store and tend to have protein, more expensive tho and more calories, but still a better snack than chips or candy

rice cakes also don't need a fridge, are low cal, filling and cheap

Fair enough anon but maybe start with a small oven or some shit like a $200-300 one. Not only is fast food making you fat but that shit isn’t cheap. If you’re spending like $25 a day on that, that’s $750 a month. If you’re in a big city you gonna have a harder time getting cheap food but Walmart and Costco means healthy good on the cheap. My meal budget is less than $7 a day, that’s no bullshit just food I can stand to get me to my goal.

I already only eat twice a day. I would simply replace one of those times with something healthier. Its really not so simple to just work less I need all the money I can get.

For a while anon, and I'd hate to presume your likely level of self-control based entirely on the fact that you've allowed yourself to become a 300 pound gastropod, but I'd guess it's pretty low. You may be motivated to change right now and I commend that, but take it from a former fat frick like yourself, you need to build your way up to what you're thinking. If you go all in full-bore on just replacing everything you eat with fruits, veggies you'll lose weight, sure. But you will fail. You will not keep up. Your willpower will wane. You'll be put in a familiar situation. Someone's birthday party and someone pushes cake in your face. Friday night and [insert thing here] (friends come over, watching a movie, playing some video games, family get-together, or good old fashioned self-loathing pity session where you'd normally eat your feelings) happens, you lose your grip and eat an entire large pizza by yourself, etc.

In my experience, like I said as a former fat frick like yourself (6'2, 300) the way you get a grip on yourself is purely counting calories at first. You're so fat and overweight that you literally just need to exist and keep yourself under like 2100 calories right now and you'll start shedding weight quickly. Don't deny yourself TYPES of food, but learn how to control your intake. Portions, times of day, etc. Over time you'll learn to change out some of those foods - have a banana with your sandwich at lunch instead of a bag of chips. Have a cup of greek yogurt after dinner for dessert instead of a bowl of ice cream. That sort of thing. Eventually, when you've lost weight, gained the upper hand on your stomach - sure, then you can go try out fasting, try out keto, try out whatever. If you go all in with an extreme solution to an extreme problem you'll just doom yourself to failure. I guarantee it.

i'm overweight because I used to overeat. I would literally eat like 5000 calories a day for like 3 years. I stopped this year. I was 270 when I stopped and I started taking some antidepressants which made me gain 30 pounds in a month and i half. I started going to the gym and lost like 15 pounds then I had a work injury and had to take on a second job to pay the bills. I literally eat twice a day with zero exceptions ( been doing this for 3 months now) i have more self control than you assume as I completely cut out sugary foods and junkfood before my injury and I only went back to eating fast food because I work so much that I do not have time to eat anything else. I literally eat all my meals in my car while driving.

A lot of you guys are making grand assumptions and adding things that aren't relevant. I literally want to know if I eat exclusively fruits and protein shakes will I damage my body or pass out from hunger or have extreme fatigue or some shit. I'm not asking for advice losing weight or information on what to do to lose weight or any of that shit literally just want to know what would happen.

            >A lot of you guys are making grand assumptions and adding things that aren't relevant.
Listen here you fat tub of lard, I know all the fat that's accumulated in your brain is making you a whiny b***h who asks for advice and then tells everyone who gives them advice that they don't like to hear that they're wrong and stupid because of 5000 excuses, but try to focus here.

YOU ATE YOURSELF TO 300 POUNDS.

Let that fact sink the frick in. You ate yourself into morbid obesity. You're enormous and unhealthy. Your opinions on what you are and are not capable of are irrelevant. You asked for advice and you got it. You don't know why people are making "grand assumptions"? Oh, I don't know maybe because you're a gluttonous fat frick who has already demonstrated a complete and utter lack of self control. Oh sure, it only happened because of some super crazy circumstances that won't happen again! Oh, and you've already SOLVED your overeating problem! After all, you've lost a few pounds and you're not overeating anymore (yet you're still morbidly obese).

Look, if you want someone to tell you that your really stupid fricking idea that's destined to fail is in fact a really great idea that's destined to succeed then let me give it to you: GREAT IDEA ANON, YES, YOU CAN TRUST YOURSELF TO SIMPLY EAT FRUITS AND VEGGIES UNTIL YOU SHED OVER 100 POUNDS OF FAT AND I'M QUITE SURE FOR SOME REASON THAT YOU'LL BE COMPLETELY CAPABLE OF CONTROLLING YOURSELF AND STICKING TO IT FOREVER!

Make you feel better? Hey, after you lose 15-25 pounds, slip up, fall flat on your stupid fat face and gain it all back and then some, try to remember this and not make the same mistake next time you get dissatisfied with being so pathetically overweight and decide you're going to do something about it.

Are you making less than 15 dollars an hour, or what's your deal? I really doubt that you have no choice but working so much. Or has America really fallen so low? I really can't picture someone having to work so much that they don't have time to do anything else in a country wealthier than mine.

            >I literally want to know if I eat exclusively fruits and protein shakes will I damage my body or pass out from hunger or have extreme fatigue or some shit.
No, what a moronic question. you will not feel full and you will be deficient in important vitamins and minerals, and therefore feel mental and physical fatigue. Even your current diet is highly suboptimal. For some meals you can eat that. But you need to make sure to include other meals within the week. Even eating sandwiches instead of burgers is a good start.

Literally buy some whole wheat bread and make pb&j’s to start if that’s all you can make.

you could buy an airfryer and cook with no oils there. some foods are more filling while being low on calories, such as rice cakes or oranges

    1. Ground beef
    2. Onions
    3. Eggs
    4. Broccoli

One meal a day using all those ingredients. Eat that until you are normal weight.

      >The 22-year-old Indiana University student says his Subway diet consisted of little else. Fogle ate a 6-inch turkey sub for lunch and a foot-long veggie sub for dinner
      >He skipped breakfast and held the cheese and mayonnaise for a diet that totaled under 10 grams of fat and about 1,000 calories per day

That doesnt classify as fast food imo. I mean there is nothing fried or even pan-cooked. He ate 2 healthy sandwiches a day that he could have made at home.
You can't come up with anything remotely close to this off the popeye's menu, burger king menu, pizza hut etc

I thought about doing the same once.

Examine.com (pieces together a bunch of studies to provide supplement advice on a scientific consensus of you're unaware) recommends about 1.6g protein per kg bodyweight for most needs.

I was thinking of getting this from cheap whey concentrate, adding a multivitamin or something and then getting the rest of my calories from fruit/veg/nuts.

Would probably work quite well although if you're really big the calories from protein powder might not allow for much fruit.

I guarantee it.

its this simple. Eat less calories then you burn. Its not special magic or some unattainable goal. That's all you have to do. Use a calorie calculator online to figure out what you need and drop it by 400 calories. Once you reach you weight that you wanted start eating normal and when you go up by say 3KGs back to the diet. If your American don't even bother. Your bread has 8 times the calories in it the rest of the worlds bread does for some reason. In my country American bread would be considered a dessert
