I would have liked a sequel series where the Death Note falls into the hands of some ordinary guy. Light was already a megalomaniacal psychopath genius at the start of the story.
Guarantee he did cardio regularly because it's good for the mind and he would have seen lifting as secondary. He was a tennis champion after all
That would have been sort of interesting. I think that keeping the genius part would have been a requirement though or else he'd be caught immediately. Light's downfall was his ego. If he could have kept himself at bay more often he'd have beaten Near and achieved his goal
An average person getting the death note would murder people at random for traffic encounters and because of what some media personality told them to do. He would get tripped up and caught nearly immediately.
There is literally nothing interesting about a narrow-minded unprincipled average NPC getting access to anything. Just imagine the stupidest possible narrative you can, and it will be worse than that.
The worship of average people is nauseating, maybe next you would want a fatty to get a copy of the death note?
>He would get tripped up and caught nearly immediately.
How? Light got caught because of his ego. I could stand in front of someone in a police station, on camera, write their name down, and watch them die. How would I be charged with murder? I didn’t do anything.
No other anime hit the spot of the cat and mouse, psychological thriller anime that was Death Note. I'm watching one called Psycho-Pass that apparently was supposed to be similar but it's not even close.
Is there ANY anime that's as good as death note for it's genre?

A side series at least would have been interesting, I'm not sure they could have milked it as much
You mean garbage like the Netflix series.

You know there was a one off sequel right? It was pretty good.
>death note falls into the hands of a 4chan chud
>book falls into the hand of a ISTanon
Notable fat people and garden gnomes start dying in the hundreds
The funny thing is they will never know if they just had a heart attack for being a fat fuck or not.
Series fell off halfway through
Filtered
Why don't you filter my piss into your mouth
unironically yes
Why was the ending so fucking shit? It's like the author wanted was sick of the story and wanted it over with.
Reminder L won
The villain often does
vaxxie seething

Monster
I saw this as a recommended online. Thanks. Will give it a shot.
The author did another series called platinum end. It was shit.
Tokyo ghoul was okay. The soundtrack and animation are great but the anime misses a lot of the SUFFERING from the manga
I want a series that has a that same evil smugness Light has.
After reading your first sentence, I wanted to recommended Psycho Pass. It's a good show (season 1 at least), just keep watching.
Promised Neverland, but if you want Detective villain stuff then detective conan
Monster is good, it's about giga-hitler
first anime i ever watched when i was 11 years old.
to this day i never found anything as smart as deathnote.
