WTF do I do to get this body

I SPENT SEVERAL DAYS TRYING TO FIND AN ANSWER FOR WHAT BALE DID TO ACHIEVE THIS AND LITERALLY EVERY PLACE HAS DIFFERENT INFORMATION I'M GOING TO GO INSANE. I am autistic and I want to do exactly what he did for that reason, consider that a new year resolution kinda thing or don't, but I am desperate and in need of an answer here.

He wants to know what bale did IRL to get this body, not what bateman does.

According to most of what I've read,he followed something similar,if not exactly the routine from the book.

I remember reading about a shitload of push-ups and sit-ups there, but if the full routine was mentioned it went over my head along with all the outfit descriptions, could you provide a link or something? I guess I'd rather do what Bale did for the role and not the definitely unnecessarily and autistically long book option as I assume it is just that. But perhaps I could build a shorter version based on it at least.

judging by his physqiue mostly upper body and cardio because his legs are a little bit small for my taste.

That's big if true since I do like both upper body and cardio and don't like doing squats and such. You may be onto something here, since most of the internet sources I read recently indeed provide an upper body high weight low sets, reps, and rests workout and then HIIT cardio plus abs plus something like hanging leg raises for a bit of leg work. But I still have no idea where all those websites got their information and why do they all differ, and, naturally, which one of them is correct

    lol
just do any reasonable hypertrophy routine
ignore legs mostly and get lean enough around 10%
    thats literally it
    the rest is just genetics

if you need an exact trainingroutine as an excuse you will never make it

That'd just give me extra motivation due to how stupidly obsessed with the film I am. Althoughyou are right probably. But how do I get to that body fat from my current (about 17%) if my BMI is already perfectly average and even slightly lower than that? Do I have to bulk now and then cut or try doing recomp or ?

Stop obsessing about little details if you're just starting out. Just lift and don't eat like shit.

I was obviously reluctant but frick it I shouldn't be, here. If anything that is extra motivating to do more work. Atm I did some basic whole body stuff 3 days a week for about 4 months and my diet is just trying to avoid eating shit and getting more protein than I would before. I was definitely weaker than average before I started so there's that.

You need significantly more muscle mass to approach what Bale had in that movie. It will probably take you two years with decent diet, 2 or 3 good bulk/cut cycles.

Figure out your TDEE through sailrabbit, eat 300kcal over maintenance every day and lift 4 times a week on a hypertrophy program. Don’t worry too much about legs but run on the treadmill after each workout (make up calories burned through diet that day).

Honestly you look young and don’t look like you lift at all right now. Get stuck in and reevaluate in a year.

Welp, I calculated that and if anything I'll have to eat a lot. My current daily intake is about 2000 or so and the recommended one is 2400+300 extra. That probably means doubling down on that rice, idk

Three days a week is not nearly enough. You're young, your body recovers quickly

I do intend to up the amount of days in the next month, now I have a habit developed and actually want to do that. But I am not sure how. If I do hypertrophy it should be split by the push-pull I guess or can it all just be full body?

Cut and work out more intensely than you do now. Keep your electrolytes high. Forget about bmi.

Christian Bale is 182.2cm tall and I read online he was like 180lbs(81.65kg) in american psycho.
So he has a BMI of 24.6

I believe it's 180,saw another source saying he was 190 lbs, there's no way he's that lean, being 190 lbs, especially since I'm quite close to achieving that amount of muscle mass specifically in the back, biceps and forearms, yet I train legs and I'm quite close to 180

Your body and Christian bale's body twenty-three years ago are different, especially in terms of your skeletal structure and muscle insertions. All you can do is become a buff version of yourself via a hypertrophy program. Do that and forget about your meaningless and impossible goal
