My dad has had one of these before. You can either wait for it to die down (usually takes a while and it may come back later) or get a Doctor to operate on it and get rid of it forever.
It isn't dangerous or anything though AFAIK. You can live with it and be fine.

I must have that bacteria b/c I get them all the time.

Your best solution is to warm compress it until it goes away. There is literally no other solution.

Go to the doctor and insist upon seeing a specialist to drain it. I had a stye a few years ago and did all the usual stuff like warm compresses hoping it would just go away naturally, per my doctor's suggestions. Turns out it didn't, and it formed scar tissue on my lower eyelid. My doctor then retired and I'm shit outta luck.

I suffered this chronically until a couple of years ago. Don't put heat on it or any other shit. Antibiotics work like a charm, but if you're too stupid, poor or lazy to go to the doctor: Straight up buy tears and something to keep it clear and clean. Keep mantaining the eye clean all the time, and wet. Don't let it dry. You'll notice a difference in a day. Don't touch it, it most likely be an infection and you can spread it to the other eye by being stupid. As a counter measure, keep both eyes clean

      >Don't put heat on it or any other shit
As someone that constantly has these due to long eyelashes and me not realizing rubbing my eyes was a bad thing.

When I start feeling a stye come on (you can tell immediately) I actually wet a paper towel, wring it out, and put it in the microwave for 10 seconds. Then I put the heat exactly on the stye. I do this and I get rid of it by the next day.

  11. 2 years ago
    Anonymous

Yeah i had the same shit for like 1.5x years, initially i thought it would go away by itself, then i tried hot compress, but that didn't work either. So i bought a very thin, sterile medicinal needle, disinfected it and poked the b***h through both sides of the eyelid. I did not squeeze it out, i applied boric acid eye drops every day and contiued with the warm compresses and within a week it was gone.
May have been a very bad thing to do, but i just said frick it and all turned out good.

    is it filled with pus?
then make a tiny incision to let the pus flow out.

Is it just a water filled cysts?

Yeah disinfect the needle, scalpel prior to deploying it.

    And don't panic, Sir.

My answer is the one, Sir.
There is pus inside, of course it must flow out.
        Of course dont 'pop' it.
As said, use a sharp clean scalpel or a needle to puncture the cyst, the pus will flow out, the inflammation will get better.

is it solid then? not a cyst?

              interesting...

                Sir?
                you're still lurking?
                Yes it's obviously a "stye'.

                The prior suggestion was correct:

"Incision and drainage is performed if resolution does not begin in the next 48 hours after warm compresses are started. Medical professionals will sometimes lance a particularly persistent or irritating stye with a needle to accelerate its draining."

I'd not let it grow further. There's pus and it needs to flow out.

                Sir?
you'll need to puncture it again, Sir.
