I don't want to be the one to tell you this breh, but you have only 3 years left starting now. Drop the salt, or be left with just 1.

Actually read the study and not a tweet about an article about the study, I'm sure if you eat oven pizza every night adding salt to it is bad for you, not for people who actually give a frick about health, salt alone being bad for you is long dead.

I have stopped watching the news or reading any online health advice for the last year and have lost 30 lbs. Over 40% of federal funding goes to Medicare and social security - the government and everyone running it has a huge incentive to lead the everyday person to a premature death.

Lmao eating food without salt is torture, I'd rather lose two years off my life than not eat salt.

Guess what, I would easily trade 2 years of my life for being able to add salt to my food.

no wonder my mom eats shitloads of salt, just watch your bp, if it's starting to trend higher reduce salt or add more physical activity

The body is made to handle salt and other things. Except for a rare few individuals who are genetically defective you really can't get too much. You just piss it out.

Are these the same people that told us all that eggs would give us a heart attack?

  21. 2 years ago
    Anonymous

I remember for years reading all the articles about how eggs are going to give you a heart attack and eggs are going to kill you and if you eat just one egg a week it will lower your life expectancy and doctors recommend you eat no more than two eggs every week blah blah blah and it was all a load of bullshit.

I remember people telling me that blah blah there's going to be no snow in this mountain by the year 2015 and that came and went and there's still snow in the mountain

Scientists kept telling me that my hometown was going to be underwater by 2010 and then it wasn't and they changed it to 2015 and then it wasn't and they stopped saying it now but they keep saying that it's eventually going to be underwater.

Does anyone care about just 2 years? I try to be healthy but seems like the stress of worrying about eating salt every day for 80 years would be worse than missing just 2 years
