Apparently you've never eaten a pear. Those will be rock fricking hard. Wait until they turn yellow and soft to the touch but not mushy.

      Normal pears don't turn yellow.

inb4 it's tastes shit because it's not a tree made by grafting cuttings from of a 1 in 10,000 mutation that actually tastes good

This only happens with apples, I think.

        >This only happens with apples, I think.
it happens with most fruit that aren't like berries. Pears, apples, quinces are all pretty closely related for that matter.

They are closely related, but this problem is specific to apples. A peach from a pit will taste good, only a bit different.

Orchardists want to sell you grafted trees. Nothing wrong with that, but most trees grow from the seed just fine. Figs are another problematic tree, as you only need female trees that can bear fruit without pollination. (but they are super easy to clone)

I'm not your friend don't quote me some wiki on parthenocarpy you skim read and now think your an orchardist. Go lie to someone dumber.

I've grown peaches from the seed, that's why I mention them specifically.

this. It takes a dude from the countryside to know this. Most pears will be good to pick and eat in about 2-3 weeks. Not all turn yellow, however. Pears can be very refreshing when they are a little early, tho. Late pears are pretty much all sugarwatery.

Hint: For all western hanging fruits: If you can pick em easily (pretty much falling into your hand without pulling much), they are good to yum.

yeah all citygays own dogs because they're too lazy to deal with their problems and are suffering from mental illness. so they need a "support" canine to deal with real life.

There are rabbits freely jumping around in my city. When I come late from work there's literally no-one else in the dark, just me and jumping rabbits. It's an infestation for sure. I'm gonna get myself a gas gun (doesn't need a license) and start hunting myself dinner. I know skinning and gutting them from holidays at grandparents.
