    >Popular snacks in asia and africa

As someone who has been to both. I really wish they would stop this pilpul bullshit. No one in asia eats fricking bugs unless they HAVE TOO. Those bug carts are only visited by the absolute poorest and most desolate people. For every bug cart there are 100 carts that serve beef/chicken/pork.

Slave food is for slaves and I am a master so I will eat like a master. If millions or even billions of slaves have to starve and die for this, then so be it. I will build a better world on top of your graves and worthless rotting bones.

We can always breed or acquire more to replace the current ones if there ever is a need. They have server their purpose for the moment and thus are of no value to us.

I tried some fried grasshoppers once out of curiosity. Thought it's gonna be like deep friend shrimp or something. Nope. Their chitin shell's a lot harder. Way closer to crab shell. Scratched my throat something fierce.

Anyway. still don't understand why they can't just farm the bugs as fish/animal feed instead of 'you will eat the bugs shit.'

Friendly reminder not to eat the bugs.
Their filtration systems are crap, unlike that of a mammal, which can pee, crap, or sweat toxins out.

Insects are like sponges, they even evolve to be larger or smaller depending on the oxygen in the air, they're that basic that they breathe through holes in their chitin that brings oxygen to their cells. They don't even have lungs. Imagine how much crap they accumulate without kidneys or liver.
