Exactly. You know what’s more impressive than going to the gym 5-6 days a week? Having good genetics. Just leave it at that.

Yeah. In a typical normie environment, say, among office coworkers, "oh, just some pushups before bed, maybe hiking at the weekend" will get more widespread general approval. People, especially sedentary and out of shape office workers don't like to be confronted with the results of consistent hard work and will immediately start throwing out the excuses "ohh well, personally I can't spend all evening in the gym because I have a life/kids/flat feet/bad back/etc" (even if nobody actually asked them why they don't work out). They'd much rather just think "oh anon has good genetics, good for him, shame the world is so unfair to me, alas..." and then the halo effect does the rest of the work "he's got good genetics, he's a good person". If they hear that you include working out in your schedule, they start to wonder "huh, what's so wrong with him that he thinks he needs to do something that I don't do? Is he vain? Insecure? He thinks he's better than me because he works out and I don't? Frick anon!".
Think of all the times you've heard/seen bitter comments (be they IRL or on social media) when a visibly fit person loses to or underperforms next to a less physically impressive competitor/colleague, the glee from the onlookers is venomous. "Haha fat lot of good all those steroids did him" "See, muscles don't matter" "Eww muscly guys like that are so vain, I bet he spends more time looking at himself in the mirror than his wife does... if he even swings that way haha ;)"
Same is true for music, painting, etc. Does talent exist? Sure. Our bodies and brains are different, some people will be more naturally able to pick up on skills - but everyone who gets to a point of significant skill trains. But normies don't want to hear that, or even if they accept it, they'll twist it to "ah well I don't have the resources to train like he does, so he's only a better artist/musician/athlete than me because he has privilege".

On the flip side to all this, revealing your powerlevel will gain you the ire of 99% of people, but that remaining 1% that understands and respects your efforts will become the close compainions that you should be seeking out in the first place.
tl;dr among coworkers/acquaintances/etc, hide your powerlevel - revealing it just brings bitterness and resentment from the majority of a group that you might be contractucally obligated to spend extended periods of time with, and won't make your job any easier. But for anyone who you actually want to be close with, revealing your powerlevel sooner than later is a good idea because it will show you if this person respects the way you live your life and shares a similar work ethic (even if it might be in a different field - even fatties can be good people that understand dedication/routine, they just choose not to apply it to their bodies).
