          It's because of the angle of the camera. You look a lot bigger if you tilt the top towards yourself but then the background gets distorted like you're seeing here.

        ouch, I watched a few vids after I got tendonitis after benching too heavy. I fixed it by doing light work with that tendon. Apparently, tendonitis happens when you don't allow your tendons to heal properly and they heal like spaghetti as opposed to straight strands. So you have to keep working them until they break and heal properly again.

          can confirm this guys tip works. did something like this for my sore wrists years ago. also thanks for reminding me to do this for my sore shoulder. it's been naggin me couple months and I've been coping it will go away by itself (which it hasn't). time to do some banded flies or what not light stuff.

          That guy really knows how to overcomplicate things. You just do a lift that uses said tendon and you set it up to where you're only doing the negatives. Light weight, high reps. It's that simple.
          For my wrists it was just wrist extension negatives for sets of 50 with like 4kg per hand and for the patellars it was just riding my fixed gear bike and braking with the drive train creating a light (at low speeds) concentric contraction of the quads for hella reps.
          Went all the way from my hands hurting at all times and moving them at all being excruciating to feeling brand new in a couple weeks. My patellar tendinitis was much less serious and I fixed it in a couple days.

    Yes, you can get big and lean. However, it takes a lot of discipline and hardwork to get there. Another major component anons miss is that genes matter a lot. Your muscle insertions, muscle bellies, symmetry, androgen receptors, etc. will all play a big role in whether or not you can get big and lean.
    Some guys simply won't ever look big and lean. And that's fine, it doesn't mean they can have a good looking body.
    Work to whatever your natty limit is.

      He was pretty much ottermode when only doing running, so yeah.

      Still, I think his advice is good in general. I was able to go from skinnyfat to ottermode in a few years at 30+ using his advice. I'm not very strong (lmao 2plaet 1rm larsen press @ 70kg bw), but I'm starting to look pretty good imho

      He actually talks about how because he was a long distance runner, he has better than average endurance in the gym and is able to rip out way more reps than average. Now when you talk about epigenetics, you do have to get through that transition period where your body focuses more on muscle function than cardiovascular, but he had a great athletics base anyway because of his track experience.
