      You train legs based off bodyweight only.
      If you don't you can develop serious posture imbalances by just training upper body.
      By training legs for full function over strength training you correct these issues since the legs will always be strong enough to carry your upper body mass.
      Nothing more is needed and you are probably israeli or a transexual if you strength train legs.

          So in other words, people who squat 400+ can do 200 for 20+. If you can't hit 50% of your 1rm on any given lift for 20 something is seriously off. It doesn't matter how you train. If you can bench 300 you can bench 150 for 20 easily. If you squat 500 you can squat 250 for 20 easily. Your 10rm is always going to be above 70% of your 1rm and your 20rm is always going to be above 50%. The only exception is if you're doing some fake lift bullshit to fraud a heavy 1RM like benching with an extreme arch.

      All squatters have APT/hyperlordosis and a big belly because of bracing. There is nothing worse for posture than heavy squatting and deadlifting.

        If by "squatter" you mean powerlifter then yes they are all fat and deformed.
        I'm talking about squatting and deadlifting a reasonable amount of weight for your bodyweight as a part of a complete lifting routine.
        All the best looking guys in my gym train legs. The strongest guys in my gym are bloated sacks of raw horsepower.
        You should be able to find your own happy medium based on these observations, but neglecting legs entirely is a big mistake unless your runs or do a lot of calisthenics or something.

          Valsalva maneuver works transversus abdominis at long length. muscle adapts by growing longer. this causes stomach to protrude instead of veing compressed by normal lenght tva

    I train legs once a week and try to make my squat as strong as possible. Same with bench press, deadlift, overhead press, etc.

    I have been training for 10 years and some of my lifts are pretty pathetic. This is my fault, because I had the stupid mentality that I am only doing this for bodybuilding and I don't need to get strong with basic barbell movements. Now I realize that I need better long term and short term goals when I hit the gym because I am basically maxed out in terms of natural muscular development, but I know I can be way stronger.

    Basically, if you aren't squatting and trying to get stronger with the big lifts then you are doing it wrong. You will still get the physique, but you will be way more productive in the gym and have more to show for your work when you have been training a while.
