Killing animals for food is fairly ethical I would say. Killing them arbitrarily maybe not so much. OP why would arbitrarily kill plants when there are perfectly good animals to eat? It's pretty immoral bro. Maybe sort yourself out?

        > modern farming methods are fricking abhorrent
Plant based farming is severely more abhorrent than meat farming. The fact you seem more concerned with lives of chicken than with lives of mice makes you just that much more insufferable.
A human must kill one way or another to survive. Learn to live with that.

        >2 and a half years and feel incredible
You've followed a diet for not a quarter of your life, and not from birth either. Good thing we dont rely on anecdotal evidence.
No real scientific studies show that a vegan diet makes anyone fitter or healthier. Anecdotally we have seen many vegans fall apart after the 2-5 year mark. You'll be back to eating meat before you know it.

Don't waste your keystrokes on these morons. They're obsessed with the idea of getting as muscular as possible yet are 90% dyels.

Athletic performance, especially anything involving lifting, is best with meat in the diet. Show me a high level powerlifter or strongman who follows veganism.

I raise, kill and butcher my own animals for meat. Its a lot of work to properly raise.

I also grow my own crops. Also a lot of work.

I think if anything is unethical is that you are perfectly capable of producing at least some of your own food and you still rely on the blood, sweat, and tears of others. Not to mention the shit you get at the store regardless of what kingdom that it comes from is all unethical as shit.

How did you afford your land and how do you pay taxes and make a means of living?
Raising sheep and growing my own crops is my dream.
People constantly look down on me when I say I want to be a farmer, but it's a hell of a lot harder to get to that point than be some israeli goyim cuckboy slave.

There are a variety of ways to break the system. Its hard. I got lucky and have land however there are literal homeless people living out of a cart and engaging in legal guerilla grazing with dairy sheep/goats (look up 123 homefree)

Unfortunately its the norm for citycucks to look down on anyone who has any desire to live for themselves outside of a claustrophobic cubicle making some israelite more money.

Nobody questions how fricked up it is that we went from 40% of people producing at least some of their own food in 1940 to around 1 percent today.

I don't think eating meat is immoral. I do think that it is environmentally destructive and that is why we should limit meat consumption. We'd save on water, land (farmland for feed could be used to grow food for humans), and carbon emissions.

        Anonymous

explain how a cow grazing grass is more environmentally destructive than:

All the fossil fuels it takes to plow, plant, spray, harvest and process crops. synthetic fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides...being release into the environment en masse. water wastage/evaporation, soil degradation, & wildlife destruction that comes with plant agriculture.

Don't worry, I'll summarize for you. If you think animal agriculture is worse for the environment than plant agriculture, you're a bumbling fricking idiot who has been watching too many shitty netflix documentaries.

Tell me you have absolutely no concept of how agriculture actually works, without telling me you have absolutely no concept of how agriculture actually works.

Ignoring quite how little of the world's beef production is just cows freely grazing on grass, you haven't considered how either of those scale, have you? Also, anon just said 'limit' meat consumption, not eradicate it.

          Calm down.

Again, tell me you know nothing about agriculture without telling me.

I've considered far more than you can even comprehend, you brainlet frick.

The vast majority of ALL COWS lives are spent eating grass. How they are finished is irrelevant.

My point is that meat cultivation involves all of that anyway, in the production of animal feed. Half the corn grown in the USA is used to feed cattle. Isn't that a massive waste of water, chemicals, and land? We would be better off eating the corn directly. Don't get me wrong, I eat meat and I like the taste. But meat should be something we eat on birthdays and celebrations, not everyday.

            >My point is that meat cultivation involves all of that anyway,

            No, it doesn't.

            >Half the corn grown in the USA is used to feed cattle. Isn't that a massive waste of water, chemicals, and land? We would be better off eating the corn directly.

Almost nothing is grown specifically for animals. That is tired vegan propaganda. About 5% of the WASTE of crop production (grown for basedboys like you) is used for animal feed. Vegans actually promote poor diets for animals by propping up the monocrop farming industry and protesting against regenerative agriculture (because vegans know it destroys all their arguments).

Yeah okay, like eating farmed plants is any more ethical. All those farms that feed humans used to be habitats for wildlife, and it was all cut down and striped of its natural ecosystem to become breeding grounds for selectively bred plants to solely feed one single species.

    You think that's moral?

Eating animals is far more ethical than destroying the environment by supporting monocrop farms you mong. If you care about ethics you would minimise your monocrop consumption and eat only locally. And the added benefit of ethical food consumption via an animal diet is that you will get healthier and become less of a burden on society, which we know you vegans are.

Bro I can't stop eating steak with blue cheese (wagyu ribeye) and oysters/eggs fried in steak fat for the meal after... it's too good. I just don't care about the cows that were born specifically to feed me, and oysters feel no pain.
